In reverse bevel, why it is called so?

Bevel is a surface at an angulation. We intentionally create an angle at the surface rather than 90degree. Most of the bevels placed towards outside(sloping from inside to outside).
In reverse bevel exactly opposite will be there. Sloping towrds inside(from outside to inside).

In the reverse bevel section there is a diagram in which arrow is pointing towards gIngival wall. So bevel is created at the inner side of gingival wall towrds axio gingival line angle.
