Hi; I hope all goes well with the op and your soon back. Thanks for the advice on my bandit's brakes; very helpful. They do seem to be working as well as bandit brakes can work! Take care best regards Paul.
I don't believe it Ian just found the videos and now your going again ha ha that's a selfish point i know, i hope all is okay for you when you have your operation, and another great video and yes i'm sat here with a glass of whisky (on a school night too) enjoying watching. i dont suppose you are going to the "The Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show" at Stafford next weekend ??, all the best and look after yourself Best Regards Mark....PS if you by some chance you do go i will buy you a coffee, until next time...
Hey Mark, I'm sorry but will still have some different videos for you to watch, I got my press pass through the other day for the Stafford show but I'm going to be on bed rest so won't be able to go 😢 will have to get that coffee another time. thanks again for watching and leaving a comment every week Mark I always look forward to seeing your comments
Thanks Marko just hoping I can get back to fixing and riding the bikes as soon as I can. I only spotted the slippers after you mentioned it 🙈 they are erm... safety slippers lol
Hope the operation goes well and look forward to seeing you back again soon. Can't help but notice the poorly Bandit in the background, have you done the side stand and paint job. I know it's a bit late but don't you think it'd look better with a chrome round headlight or twin lights rather than the fairings. Take it easy RR
Hey RR, op went well, just need to rest up and remember to take my painkillers, I'm going to do a garage update video in a few weeks I'll make sure to include a bandit update in there for you.
@@Classicmotorbikes Glad it went ok and look forward to the update, while I'm here can I ask what you think is the best way to raise the front ride height, I have bar risers..but want a little more.
Another great video 👍 Wishing you a speedy recovery, Got a question for you, I want to attempt to swap my mk1 600 Bandit swing arm, I’m planning to get one all painted up and looking nice and swap it over for the tatty one that’s currently in it, any advice (for a total novice?)
Hi Stuart, thanks for the well wishes. The swingarm swap isn't the hardest thing to do, 2 things come to mind when doing the swap, number 1 is making sure you can support the bike with the back wheel off the ground if the bandit still has it's centre stand you will be good to go. number 2 is to have a look and make sure you have all the tools you need, need to remove the back wheel spindle, the brake torque arm, the rear shock and linkages and the swingarm itself. I like to try and lay things out on the floor next to the bike as it comes off so I know how it goes back on. Hope this helps Stuart and let me know how you get on 👍
I hope everything is ok and you are recovering well. Can't wait to see you again doing your magic in the workshop. Take care
Thanks Juan, I'm getting better and better every day

I'd say the two options are bar risers or a different set of bars, renthal do a fair range of different sizes bars might be worth checking out
Another great video 👍
Wishing you a speedy recovery,
Got a question for you,

Classic motorbikes thanks for the advice 😊👍
Hope all goes well with your op. Put ya feet up and relax.
Cheers Adam, I'll have to put my feet up... Doctors orders 🤣
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks Madein Kochi
Looked like he could of welded that frame on the bike he didn’t need to flip it 😁
I thought that as well 😬 but because of the heat needed the weld would have dropped thats why the frame is pointing up to start with.
Yes! Just messing 😁 A lot easier when it’s just the frame, no chance of damaging rest of bike 👍
