The8 had a shoulder injury, that's why he danced with one arm and wasnt really in most of the music video.
19:06 So The8 actually had a collarbone injury. He was still recovering during this time so they had to restrict his movements. I suggest watching their 2023 MAMA Performance! He had a dance break that sort of makes up for his minimal movements here haha! He’s so amazing!

Idk if you know this but Funfact: back when they were still trainees, Woozi was called by their management only to ask him to choose which unit would he like to be part in "vocal or perfromance" because he was that good, he could be in either. He talked about this to Suga in Suchwita too. Also, personally I think Woozi is good at rapping too.

Dk is my ult bias, he is just a bright light and his vocals are out of this world. But as a Carat, I have to say that it is impossible to not have like at least half of the members fighting for bias. You can't just have like one haha. I have my bias line where like 7 of them are fighting for 2nd place, currently Jeonghan is winning cuz he is so chaotic and adorable.

This song and dance is soooo insane!! You guys should watch the music video back a bunch of times to try and look at each member. Thank you for watching the choreography video!! Even if you don't always check out the choreo after each mv for youtube, I'd definitely recommend you guys watch the choreo on your own too.
fun fact super's korean title is sonogong, which means the monkey king. it comes from the chinese mythology of son wukong or more famously Goku. the hand sign that's a part of the choreo (two fingers to the forehead) is a reference to dragon ball z!!
also the8's part is literally every carats' favourite scene. the way he was missing throughout the whole mv (understandably so due to his injury) so the transition to his scene in the coolest day way ever was just... a very special moment for fans. i love this mv and song so much. my national anthem
Yessssss I got so happy seeing this title!! I am so happy ya'll are finally reacting to this. Love ya'll. I love the mv so much, especially The8 part cause The8 shoulder was actually injured which is why he was only using one arm but he still ate it up and that's why I loved it even more. The behind the scenes for the dance practice is so cool cause it shows them really trying to get the moves right and how hard they was practicing especially S.Coups cause he kept doing his jump part over cause he really wanted it to be perfect. Also Nia I have 6 biases in Seventeen lol so if you have more than one that's definitely fine.

There is a great behind (the scenes)for the making of Super. It was early spring and cold. They filmed it outside an old vacant hotel that the crew wired for synchronized lighting. The building crew built a new front and the fire panels--I have no idea why the ground was red 🤔 There were 5 choreographers and 200+ backup dancers---no CGI.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Welcome to Caratland, where the main problem is always who will be your bias. I personally gave up already. I'll just change it depending on my mood, what I watched, what I heard etc. 😁💗💙💠.After last concert though I was bias wrecked by Jun, Vernon Seungkwan and Dino.
Cameras does not give justice to Moon Junhui's visuals. Vernon is so college crush coded. I feel like Seungkwan's visuals are overshadowed by his talents and Dino's charisma in person would really make you look at him twice.
DK has been my bias since the day I became a Carat; he is just so freaking funny, extremely kind and out of this world talented. I been into K-pop since 2018 and he has the best singing voice I’ve ever heard - and he’s an incredible dancer… but besides him being number one for me, I can’t pick a number two, because they’re all so amazing and I love them so much 🩷🩵 All though I like other groups as well, there no one quite like Seventeen 💎
By the way you should really check out BSS and their songs Fighting and Just Do It. DK, Seungkwan and Hoshi are just the most entertaining (and of course talented) trio 😂 🔥

Loved this reaction as always keep them coming 🫰Yes, as a lot of comments have already said, The8 had a collarbone injury at the time so he mainly danced with one arm and didn’t appear as much, we appreciate that he still put in a lot of work for the comeback. This was one of Woozi’s best eras! He absolutely shined during this since he produced the song and he put in a lot of work. The song’s name in English is basically translated as Sun Wukong, who is a trickster god in Chinese mythology (He’s also known as the Monkey King if you’ve ever heard of that name before). In this song, I believe a lot of the inspiration came from Woozi’s love for anime and cartoons since Sun Wukong is a character in Dragon Ball Z. There are also a lot of lyrical references and visual references to Sun Wukong in the dance and lyrics. For example, at 7:46 “my flying cloud” is a reference to Sun Wukong’s ability to fly on a cloud. And YESSS, their dance practices are sooo in sync 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It’s so hard to get like 3 people to dance in sync imagine having 13 and then like 30 backup dancers 😂😂 HYBE always has some of the best backup dancers 🎉 I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions. For the next song, I would either recommend Left and Right (which released in 2020) or Very Nice (which released in 2016). Both of these songs are very iconic and some of the best in seventeen history. Especially the Very Nice dance practice, which is one of my favorite dance practices of theirs to this day!! So normally with an MVP or dance practice, I recommend watching at least 13 times so you can zero in on each member each time you watch. But this one needs so much more because you’ve got to watch the back up dancers too. And you’ve got to check out the lights and the fire in the scenery in the background. Because that is a show of its own. And finally, watch Spider if you’re a fan of Hoshi dancing.
