    Yet hardly anyone was overweight in the 1920s. Its not rocket science to see processed foods aren't good for you.

    The narrator is just plain gold and I'm sad there aren't more comments appreciating it!

    2:15 I must have eaten more than 5,000 cans of Spam so far. A can of Spam for every 2 days or so, so 15 cans a month. I still eat Spam everyday, and Spam is the best canned luncheon meat ever made..!! 🤣

    The one that bugs me isn’t necessarily a food trend, it’s a language trend. Today we have this thing where we refer to a meal as a noun by the way it’s prepared.
    For example: Baked Potato is now Potato Bake. Scrambled eggs with onions and mushrooms is now Onion Mushroom Scramble. Just a pet peeve.

    Food is nourishment..Over eating isn't..Everything in moderation..What you people consider food is food for rabbits.

    I am as thin as I was when i weight 44kg, and i currently weigh 52 kg. The secret: walking. 15k-20k steps daily, various speeds and eating acording to my cravings, focusing on having Meat and vegies. I do not possess the Gene for bread, as I gain weight and fat from it, so wheat intake is 1% of daily food. Its what works for me. Listen to your body.

    What about the gluten free diet fad of early 2000s?

    • @priatalat
      @priatalat 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're thinking mid 2010's. No one cared about gluten in the 2000's.

    • @thedenofcaseywolfe
      @thedenofcaseywolfe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a fad when there are literally people who cannot eat gluten, or they will become extremely sick or even die. Yes, people did jump on it as a a new "fad diet," but heaven forbid disabled and chronically ill people have anything that makes their lives easier. Otherwise we're just "participating in a fad."

    • @wafflefries8350
      @wafflefries8350 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thedenofcaseywolfe yeah but in this case referring to people who don't eat gluten even tho they can, just because it's trendy. Coeliac folks are just living their lives, no big deal
      it's random people who can eat gluten who demonise it for no reason that annoy us/me

    • @thedenofcaseywolfe
      @thedenofcaseywolfe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wafflefries8350 You literally have no way of knowing someone's health conditions. So how about stop judging complete strangers in public when they ask for special diet alternatives? Maybe there's the actual problem. Along with servers who think it's funny to not give the correct food to people, who then end up severely ill or even hospitalized because of their actions. Yeah...hilarious.

    • @wafflefries8350
      @wafflefries8350 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thedenofcaseywolfe Please re-read my comment bc something got lost there apparently. I'm not gonna tell my friend they can't have gluten free or whatever when we go out. Never said that. What I said was "I dislike the DEMONISATION of gluten aimed at the general public" .. gluten is not a gross terrible toxic thing for people unless they have that health condition. I have an eating disorder so in the past I was scared of gluten and other "bad" foods due to fads and trends (NOT coeliacs just living their lives)

    I cannot stand this idiotic video format. It’s like it is dumbed down even further than the history channel already is, but then there is an annoying fast talking narrator, and even shorter snippets of information.
