- A release by Mondo. This 2xLP release contains the Katamari Damacy music in its entirety. This was an exclusive Mondo release, and while it is already sold out, Mondo has confirmed that there will be a second pressing. The album jacket is a gatefold design, and the record sleeves contain various objects printed on them to give the illusion that the Katamari records have rolled them up
There are no extras inside of this album, although it does include an obi strip

What a shame the design its not a katamari rolling while the record spins, but this is beautiful indeed ❤
I preffer this design. I don' like picture discs. They're not vinyl IMO and the sound is horrible.

The sleeves that go over the records are covered in pictures of junk making the record and sleeve combined a Katamari
i JUST got into vinyl and am so sad i missed this. Truly one of the best game soundtracks of all time. God please let them repress this sometime in the next few years :’(

I threw this into Audition and the first and second track sound so great when they transitioned into each other perfectly. I wish it was that way on the record.
I wanted this record so bad but i couldnt get one on time :/

when you ordered this did it say "180 gram katamari swirl" as the option on Mondo? as it seems Katamari is back in stock on Mondo, but not the 2nd pressing option only the option stated earlier. I just ordered it and I'm crossing my fingers it refers to the original pressing (I do know Mondo does keep some stock handy to sell at events such as cons and film screenings so they may have put up some old ones they had from that batch)
Finally got my copy (Second pressing) and sounds amazing! First Game OST i have on vinyl, but im thinking about buying the Grim Fandango.

Will you be providing a download for this rip in the future?
I could, especially since nowadays I keep the FLACs after everything is said and done and store them away on a portable hard drive
But I also would feel weird about having a free public link for everyone else to download the album. At the end of the day I *strongly* encourage everyone to support the labels and to buy the albums for themselves, and while I have the entire soundtrack uploaded to TH-cam anyways, I’m a bit of a hypocrite and usually prefer not to share the soundtrack files if that makes sense
Anyone who wants a download link can ask for one but I usually prefer to keep those discussions private
