I miss abstract games from the early 80s. They pretty much went extinct once games needed teams larger than a single developer. I'm assuming that's because no team member would tie their career to a nutty idea like this :)
Very true, I also enjoyed the whackier type games that are pretty much extinct now. Did you ever see 'Faces Of Haarne' from Shahid Ahmad? Another zany concept for a game - th-cam.com/video/b9X33fo_D2M/w-d-xo.html 😇🕹👌
I've never heard of this one. Seems very odd, but interesting. Of course, you can say that about a lot of the games on the good ol' C64. A game where you squash ink-covered worms, eat random food, and maintain dental hygiene was certainly unexpected! LOL
Theres a fair amount of things to think about in the game, at the same time! Gets a bit hectic... the best strategy is definitely use the Tippit on all of the trails you see asap! Otherwise those ink worms can just shoot right across the screen 😇🕹️👌
OMG, I have been looking for the name of this game for YEARS. I remember someone giving me a copy of this when I was 14 (1984) and I played this a lot until the tape got munched and never managed to find anyone who had it. Thanks a TRILLION for posting this
I love that - so happy you've found the game after all these years. Wow, 40 years since it was released too... where does all the time go! There were a few C64 games I was longing for, for years... and thankfully I found the titles eventually. Thus, spawned the channel. Pure nostalgia 😇🕹️👌
Interesting idea. I had dreams (nightmares) of living inside programming scripts during the heaviest moments of my studies at university. I am pretty sure I also had maths nightmares. This video gave me mild anxiety lol but I still like it CCG!
Gah! It's a very surreal game indeed.. and if you've also suffered the same sorts of fate with nightmares then I feel for you! I think the weirdest dream I ever had was riding a giant snail, but then again I'd just watched the movie 'Labyrinth' the night before 🤣🕹👌
Its a lot tougher thats for certain! I know the green plaque guy can move fast on the later levels of Tooth Invaders... but those ink worms shoot around the place later into the game! Makes it tough, but a decent challenge all the same 😇🕹️👌
Dreams of flying or levitating are awesome aren't they! I usually wake myself up by falling out of the bed and jolt upright! That's happened a few times now. I should really get that checked into 🤣🕹👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer 😅 Well, at least if you're not getting hurt it's not so bad. I guess I don't move much in my sleep but levitation/flying is sure a "skill" that feels awesome to have! Just "walking in the air" across a river or tall buildings..... One can only dream! Or maybe those rocket packs will some day be real.
What a mess😄Reminds me of my school agenda, I was not much of a calligrapher but i did love bananas. To be honest, the game does not look very appealing, but hey the guy made Stix, so I'll give it a try
Its frustrating, yet strangely addictive! I had some fun playing this for a good while and after I turned off the game I was like... 'what the hell just happened' haha 😇🕹️👌
Hello.I have already congratulated you on the channel but today my question is if you have already reviewed Dino Eggs.I have always found it a challenging game within its apparent simplicity because of the constant change of its platforms. Thank you and greetings!
Thankyou - not got around to Dino Eggs at the time of this comment, but there are sooo many games released daily - I can guarantee I'll get to it someday 😇🕹👌
What an odd game. It's like the programmer had a bunch of game design ideas while programming the Qix clone, but held off on them until after completing the straightforward Qix clone.
Can definitely see where he would have found inspiration - I think he must have loved the format of the arcade original and wanted to give it his own twist like you say 😇🕹️👌

seems like one of my fever dreams turned into a game, gotta try it out
A very surreal game alright, well worth giving it a go - its a pretty decent game for as long as it lasts 😇🕹️👌

@@CheekyCommodoreGamer Wow, I had missed that one. The Face and Music bars are very interesting mechanics. it's like an 80s video game fever dream. :)

@@CheekyCommodoreGamer and thanks for starting this channel, I will fire up the c64 this weekend and play it
Ahh and thanks for your support, means a lot 😇🕹️👌
QUINX seems interesting 😹😸👍🕹️.
Also, as this games introtuces
a playable character named Arthur,
many of my friends and workmates call me "Arttu" 😹👍.
Good game, strange concept though isn't it 😇🕹👌
Never heard of this game until you mentioned it in your last livestream. Looks really abgefahren! 😉👍
Haha yeah its definitely abgefahren alright! 😇🕹️👌
What an amazingly random concept for a game, I love it 😂
Zany isn't it... but somehow, it works and it's pretty addictive too! 😇🕹️👌

This game looks more complex than tooth invaders! imma test it out, thx for the review bro!

I had a very weird dream last night where I could levitate but this is a lot weirder! Never heard of it somehow.

Another game I didnt know of but the simpe gameplay got my attention. Looks like something that could be turned into a mobile game.
It's fun while it lasts for sure, but gets really hectic the further you go on. Be a decent idea for a mobile game 😇🕹👌
Never had it, but looks like great game after havening a few tinnies.
All games are great after a few tinnies - roll on Friday! 😇🕹️👌

Dude the subtitles said "Corded". I think that northern AI is still a ways off 😂😂.
They'll never find an AI sophisticated enough to be able to understand an proper notherner 😇🕹️👌

It all sounds pretty fukd up.
It's certainly one of the more 'zany' concepts for a C64 game. That's for certain! 😇🕹👌
Who is the other person that appears in white at the top at 5:25 time frame?
Ahhh, that little feller be 'The Dentist!' - you need to steer clear of that guy 😇🕹👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer Ah, makes sense.
not seen this before, I thought it was a qix clone by the name
Surreal game but deserves a quick play as it's pretty responsive but required a LOT of running back and forth! Still... fun for 5 mins deffo 😇🕹👌
