Newbie here. I am passing the time while I am in the hospital by watching your channel. I am looking for pours and resins to ease my mind from my worries. I found this a reminder of youth and my children's youths. I don't think I could do the beading detail because my coordination has been diminished. I must say you did a fascinating job on the dream catcher despite some of the obstacles. Thank you for sharing with us! Happy pouring!!! 🎉❤
It's so pretty! I know your daughter will love it! There is a ton of labor in it...a labor love. I do know had you not put glitter in it your daughter would never believe it was made by you. 😁🥰💕❤️
So I know it's been two years since you've done the Dreamcatcher and you should never apologize for not remembering all the colors I'm an artist as well the best way my college professor taught me was to abbreviate so red orange yellow green blue indigo violet so if you substitute and the abbreviation he taught me was ROY G BIV. So I love your work I am looking at your past ones I think I just caught a recent one I'm glad you're doing better now thank you for all your doing for everyone there showing everyone how to do things resin is my next step that I want to do I am a beader I work with beads and make jewelry I also work in plaster so now that I've overcome that and I also paint occasionally I make Christmas cards for the holidays and stuff so resin is my step. I have lung issues but I'm going to work around it and when it gets warmer I'll work outside I live in Utah so. Thank you so much for everything you do.
Wow turned out beautifully...Mine came in the mail a few days back and I was looking at it thinking it's going to take awhile...glad I watched you first...Thank you for keeping it real...
Love this mold and how it turned out in the end! Beautiful. I did click on your link for the mold but it took me to the inks. I have seen other artists use pipettes when filling small areas with resin and they seem to work great!
Turned out great, no rules for rainbows, I always have to remind myself to think "roy-g-biv" to keep my colors in order, but this still turned out so pretty and I am sure your daughter will appreciate all the work you put into it
Very pretty 🤩 You could put clear resin with a smidge of opalescent glitter as a top coat to fill in the holes too. Your daughter will love this 😃 I don’t see an extra ring. The one at the top is the hanger. I thought you got new glasses 🤣🤣
Turned out very pretty Sherry. You can put it together whichever way you personally like it. I think all the big feathers were meant to go to the bottom since there are only 3 of them and the 4 smaller feathers go at the top. Since there is 4 of them. And all the feathers would be curved in toward the circles. But it looks pretty.
Beautiful 😍😍😍 would you mind sharing the total amount of resin for this. Tip for you if you weigh each of the cured parts you can get accurate weight for future reference. I do this with all mine. Also write the numbered hanging order on the mould 😁 Hope this is not rude or presumptuous 😍😍 Sending Cornish love 💘
I also was wondering why she did not pour in natures order, as a rainbow and a spectrum occur. It’s ok, but I also think it would be much more pleasing to the eye using the correct colour order. Just my opinion, not a criticism!✌️
Just found you beautiful resin work amazing. you say you can never remember the order of the coloyrs of it ?? i was taught this saying as a child to help me remember :- Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain (Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet ) hope that helps you even after a year date on this video lol im playing catch-up i have a question tho If a very newbe (new beginner) wanted to start this art what would you sugest would be the best craft items needed to start this art??? from the UK so hard to find good things unless pay fortune on internet.
Huh... have you ever tried dropping ink directly into the mold and adding the clear resin with glitter on top and then just using a silicone brush to push it into the lines? 🤔 That probably would have been much easier and given you a more organic (or maybe tie-dye) rainbow with the way ink spreads. Though tints move differently so you may have had to mix them with a bit of alcohol and paint them on instead. Might have given an interesting effect if done that way. Or dusting with interference powders and then filling with the clear and maybe some glitter or rainbow ink. So many options! 😆 You know, I never knew you were so rainbow challenged, lol. 🌈 It's easy if you remember how to mix primary colors to get secondary colors. Primary colors are Red, Yellow and Blue. Secondary colors are Orange, Green and Purple. Red + Yellow = Orange, so orange falls between red and yellow in the rainbow. Yellow + Blue = Green, so green is between yellow and blue in the rainbow. Blue + Red = Purple so purple is between blue and red on the rainbow. Now you can chain them together in any order as long as the right colors are in between. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple is the traditional order, in which if you start over again the purple would be between the blue and the red. However, you can just as easily start in the middle of the rainbow and go backwards if you want. As long as the right colors are touching on either side, it will register to the brain as a rainbow color gradient. Yellow/orange/red/purple/blue/green OR purple/blue/green/yellow/orange/red, it's still rainbow to your brain if you're looking at it. 😁👍 ...Wow, the 10 minute cure resin would be a total bust with this mold, lol. Too fiddly for the short work time. 😅 The shortest feathers on this mold might make nice jewelry though. 🤔
Ugh I felt your pain when I saw all the overflow that you poured - way to stick with it! I hate trimming LOL Great detailed mold! Have you tried Liquid Diamonds from Michele's shop? I love it or fine/intricate/deeper molds, longer working time too.
Hey Sherry, Are you ok? I know you had Covid, I really miss your videos. You’re great and I know life interferes with play time. Just hoping you’re not I’ll.
New to this world of resin. However, the hole twist for the crystal part wasn't seen, it was out of range. Just thought you should know it was hard to see.
@@SherryMoulton You are very welcome. I love watching creative videos, and it was fun watching your video. Thank you for the link. My mom and I wanted to try the Dream-Catcher ourselves, it looks so cool. XD.
Hi I was looking at the heating tray does it have an auto shut off. Love you videos please don't change a thing. love seeing the booboos and how to fix them. 'Believe it or not that really helps us well at least it does me.

Hi from Sydney , it’s beautiful.
Just gorgeous
They are beautiful! I love your, growing a little fuller and longer! 😘
Absolutely gorgeous Sherry! Love love love it!!! Keep up the amazing work and videos, thank you for sharing!!!
Very interesting project. The smaller feathers will be better under the two big ones.
Love this mold and how it turned out in the end! Beautiful. I did click on your link for the mold but it took me to the inks. I have seen other artists use pipettes when filling small areas with resin and they seem to work great!
Well they turned out fabulous Sherry, the colours are spot on , think I’ll be ordering one of these.....thanks for sharing🇨🇦🤩🤩🤩

I love this multicolored dream catcher better than the clear one you made next. I also prefer the removal of the extra more than leaving it. Nice job.
I've made two colored ones and one just black n gold they are beautiful
What a beauty, I will definitely be making one of those xxxxx Thank you xxx
You are awesome!
I agree the long ones need to go on the outside ❤❤❤
Gorgeous 😍
WOW LOVE IT
Love love this!
Very nice ❤🎉🎉
I love it, it’s beautiful xx
What a fun mold, so many color designs it’s endless. 🧡🎃👻☠️💀 🦇 🐀
Hi Sherry, what springs to mind is: I used to be indecisive but I'm not so sure now! Very colourful though. Jo from Canberra.
Very beautifull

Gorgeous. When you showed the mold i thought there was another feather mold...
Great job Sherry. I’d love to see a sun catcher made from all your earring molds. Even a Christmas bauble sun catcher in gold, silver, and purple.
Love it.. 💕
I looked at these on Amazon and they all used the extra loop to have just a hanging of just beads without a feather as extra bling. Very colorful!
If you put a key ring at the top of the chain it makes a great hanger.
Hi Sherry, love your videos. Hint: if you heat up your knife blade, it will cut through your resin easily. Cheers.
Oh I would love a set of all those in purples, sparkles ✨️ and clear? Not sure . But I wish you sold done pieces.

With Christmas coming up I would love to see you use the Christmas lantern mold from Amazon i know it would be amazing
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet

Did you remove one of the loops..it looks amazing.
How much resin did you use for each colour I love it 🌈 xx
Hi Sherry...can you fill that extra ring with silicone so you don’t have to cut it off every time?
ROY G BIV is how I was taught the rainbow colours.
I also was wondering why she did not pour in natures order, as a rainbow and a spectrum occur.
It’s ok, but I also think it would be much more pleasing to the eye using the correct colour order.
Just my opinion, not a criticism!✌️
Fantastic project! That is a huge project to take on but worth it in long run. Great job!

Why did you use ink instead of the powder pigments. Does it make a difference?
Do you ever have a problem with the jump rings pulling open?

I think I’d use a ruler or squeegee to level out the resin….?
What kind of glitter do you recommend?
Ugh I felt your pain when I saw all the overflow that you poured - way to stick with it! I hate trimming LOL Great detailed mold! Have you tried Liquid Diamonds from Michele's shop? I love it or fine/intricate/deeper molds, longer working time too.
Maybe next 1 you should paint powder pigments into mold first
Love your work ! Wanted to ask do you use the Krystal Resin Table Top or their Casting Resin ?
It's beautyfull, but i rader make a dreamscatser in a more traditionel way 🥰🥰🥰
Roy G Biv .... red orange yellow green blue indigo and violet...
😊👍
Most dream catchers I have seen the small feathers are on top large on bottom
Hub, love your work ! Wanted to ask do you use the Krystal Resin table top or their casting resin?
Hey Sherry,
Are you ok? I know you had Covid, I really miss your videos. You’re great and I know life interferes with play time. Just hoping you’re not I’ll.
Dear Sherry, the inks are INDIA, not Indian ink. I'm sure you want to know that. I know I would. Beautiful sun catcher!
What Rainbow are you looking at .because I learned it Red orange yellow green blue purple
I still love your work it's very pretty
New to this world of resin. However, the hole twist for the crystal part wasn't seen, it was out of range. Just thought you should know it was hard to see.
You missed a ring at the top right
Mine was like that I had to cut 1 hole off
Ummm I think you need to fix your links. The one for the Dream-catcher, is actually the same link as the India ink.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching yes thanks just fixed it here is the link amzn.to/3CwSmnZ 😍😍😍🇨🇦
@@SherryMoulton You are very welcome. I love watching creative videos, and it was fun watching your video. Thank you for the link. My mom and I wanted to try the Dream-Catcher ourselves, it looks so cool. XD.
Cute. If you had more working time you could have been more precise.how about on the next one put a line of something down the center of the feathers.
This mold is tough though
