Gorgeous- love the window of positivity ❤️💕💚
Thank you! 🤗
I like both of them.
Thank you
these are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello again and glad you think so
oh these are really beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
I love their products!
They are beautiful
The unintended mixing of pigments is where it really gets interesting.
I do have to agree with that, thanks for watching
Very creative and helpful!
Thank you! 😊
wenderful job...bravo to you
Thank you
Still is quite pretty!
Thank you Holly
WOW
Thank you
new ideas bring out new possible as we learn ourselves. they are beautiful
I am enjoying learning and exploring, it make it interesting :)
The fish one looks like a wonderful Wallace Ting painting!
Why thank you
they are beautiful and with the little suncatchers your window looks perfect, love it
Thank you so much!
pretty
Thank you
Aww, Gaud! I love your window of positivity! I actually love the "imperfection", it has an innocent, child-like vibe, you know, before all this knowledge that we acquired! Inspiring and charming! Thank you for sharing!
So true! Love you channel also
@@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt thank you 😊🌹
Those are so pretty and fun!
Glad you like them! and they were fun to do
Love this idea! Heather Wright used black Puffy paint on hers, seemed to work great. Something to think about or try! These are beautiful!
Absolutely thank you for sharing I will have to check her out. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for posting this, love it!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for watching and the support
Love it , I too thought this would be a great idea and yay it works a treat. Thank you
You are right, now I have some many ideas to work on with the recent projects I have been trying out. Thanks for watching
What would we do without you? This is a beautiful idea, and I adore your window of positivity. Just an idea here as I have dabbled in faux stain glass with marabou products is that they have a thicker lead which is brilliant also to work worth and gives you a higher ‘wall’ for your colours. love your vids. Keep doing you. Big Love ;)
Awww thank you Angela, I hope you continue to enjoy my art. Thank yo for sharing your idea, super helpful
Really pretty colors. I could see myself wandering around looking for Anything i could use as a template lol. also.. loved the bird music.. makes me wish for spring.
Thank you! 😊 I am so wishing for spring also
Oooh I've ideas for this going through my brain to do this sort of thing! Lots of fun. Love the results 💖💖💖👌👏
Yay! Thank you! Good luck with your ideas, let me know how you go
Yep it will take time as I have no resin at the moment and low on money 😣
Late to the party but I love this. I had no idea they made a lead alternative. I have a stained glass coloring book I'd love to try this with. Loved your video
Doesn't matter, least you made it YAY
Love this I’m going to have to try it
You should!, let me know how you go and enjoy it
Beautiful! Have a look at Nelco Neco's cornflour clay recipe for a more cost effective option for the 'leading'
Will do, thank you for sharing this information with the art community 😍
I love the tie dye look. I am looking for a stained glass project to do for a lot of “Mom’s” I love but I’ve waited too late to buy this beautiful holographic backing. I’ll think of something and send a picture. Thanks for sharing and Happy Mothers Day to all! 🤟🏼🤍
I can still but this from Amazon, try Holographic window film. Good luck
Beautiful. I saw a similar video were they let each color set up a bit before doing the next color to avoid mixing. It took a long time that way.
Yes I had considered that and something to think about for future ones. I do enjoy the blending of colours though also. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the email for your stained glass. Great idea to get you art to the Community. 💖💖💖
You are so welcome, its always nice to share ideas and see where they go.
I created a bunch of these using glass paint on plastic and stuck to window same as what you did. Tried to remove them about a year later and had to use an exacto knife to scrape them off. The sun baked them on the window. Was not a fun job to remove. ☹️Just a little tip! Both turned out gorgeous!🥰
Good thing to throw out there with the art community, this was actual window film so I wonder if it will respond in the same way. Thanks heaps for watching and sharing.
Very beautiful! But I’d suggest using UV resin instead of epoxy that way you can flash cure to keep colors from mixing or going where you don’t want it to.
Good suggestion and thanks for watching
Cool. I've done something similar repurposing glass jars and bottle with glass paints. It takes a lot of time 'cause you're working on a curved surface but they're very pretty but yes, the "leading" needs to be a bit higher.
Funny you say that Pat, I am currently experimenting for me on some old glass jars, but for something slightly different to this. Agreed on the lead, thanks as always
I think your idea for the resin is fab. I have the fake lead in a few colours that I worked with glass paint but using the resin gives you more experiences. Especially when it runs together. If the black was thicker you wouldn't get the seepage which makes it. You could use a smaller round picture as the center of a dream catcher???... just a quick question. I have Glasscast resin 50/10. Do you know if that would work??? Never used it before. Was given as a present. Can't wait to see your next "experiment" and I love that you show us the good and the different. Art is never wrong!!! Take care. There is light at the end of the tunnel now, I'm hoping. 💖💖💖
Brilliant Kat and Thanks. I am curious to explore it more also in different colours as you mentioned. I actually do like the blending of colours also. Oh what a nice idea for the dream catcher, I was thinking of a suncatcher also. I have used it and enjoyed it, its a think Resin so it would be like this one. A nice Resin thin so can be challenging on some art project but perfect for others. I can so see that light also lol. Thanks as always Kat for you ongoing support.
??? Is the holographic “film” you used the same as you buy in rolls to make your windows opaque? If so, is it not also UV blocking? And if that is so, would it not help to keep the resin pigment from fading as everybody warns about with sun exposure? If all of this is so, what could the downside to this project possibly ever be? ??? Wonderful idea and execution to find shortcomings!! Thank you!
Look at you creating.. loved last premiere and I will be watching this one as well. I am trying to get ideas for a suncatcher for my home. All the ideas will form into Sheryl's version. Can't wait to see. Hugs Sheryl
I know I think I have had an innovation pill lol. Speak at the premier if not before
They're gorgeous Sharon. Do you think the leakage could be because the window film has little grooves, or did you use the smooth side? Maybe cut the nozzle a little bit bigger next time too to get a higher dam wall. All the same, beautiful - love them. Have a lovely day Sharon :)
Nar no leakage that way it was the resin was too high and breached the Lead damn, great tip on the nozzle I will try that next time
Love them Sharon! Even though they bled through a bit, they still are beautiful. The more color, the better!! If they don't stay stuck to the window, can you drill small holes in the top and suspend them on a thin chain or something? thank you again for sharing your experiment!!!
You are welcome, thanks for watching and thanks for the suggestion
love them. I've been thinking of trying a similar technique myself, but the Pebeo remains in my wish list as of yet. I was wondering how difficult it would be. I can see potential for some trinket bowls with these, too! Maybe the running colors wouldn't be so much of a problem if you wait for the resin to thicken between colors (mixing up only tiny batches) But, I'm with you. I like the running colors. Who says we have to color in the lines all the time, anyway? Thank you, Sharon!
I have to agree don't be boxed in. Great ideas also, thanks for sharing and your support
Those are really cool! I wouldn't have ever thought to try that. I have seen someone else do this but used drops of alcohol ink on clear. Just a thought? XOXO
Hello wonderful, glad you enjoyed and thanks for the idea
…I’ve just now noticed this vid is a year old…I’m late to the party 🤣. I also meant Gallery glass products. I’ll grab my coat.
Use lesser resin when filling with colors i have done this on a coaster turned out great..
But still ours came out really great..
Great suggestion and thank you
I know that this is from a year ago,but was wondering if you have tried UV resin with this technique???
Hello, no I haven't. Have you?
Hi Sharon can you recommend a resin I can buy to make coasters. I keep buying resin and each time I have it’s not heat resistant. I’m just wasting the resin, my coffee cups just leave marks
Try Vuba Vista Coaty, also Strone Coat Counter Tops, Elechem also have a heat resistant one. Good luck
Never worked on paper but done it on glass thanks for something new
You’re welcome 😊 glad its something new, have a great week
I love the fish. Tropical fish are multi color, so they are perfect.
Patti I can so relate to that
So cool, what an awesome idea. They turned out beautifully 💜💜💜
Thanks so much 😊

Would the window film pull off?
If you wanted to pull it off I guess you could but I needed it to stay on foe the window. The leading helps it grips right
@@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt
If you pulled it all the way off you would see the fracktals better. You could then just drill a tiny hold and hang it on a suction hook.
They came out great!!!!
I absolutely LOVE them!!! Adorable 😍👍❤
Thank you! 😊
What a great idea. Can’t wait to see future attempts
Some will me coming your way soon, watch this space
Awesome!!
Thank you Gene
