Just beginning to quill. If I can master this rose, I feel I have learned well!!! It may take me years but your instructions were so thorough and informative. Thank you so much. You are so very talented. God bless you.
Thanks a lot dear Judy Burkhart, meanwhile I have some new things which helps to make the roses a Little easier. First use a Quilling Coach to make this thin rolls, see here the Video by 14:48 minutes: th-cam.com/video/nVK0yDTM66s/w-d-xo.html much better is to use a self mixed glue to bend the rose petals, see here this Video by 5:25 minutes th-cam.com/video/aD9bhz2KC1A/w-d-xo.html The strips can be cut now also by a Pasta machine if you get a good Quality machine and a attechment which cuts 0.8mm or 1mm strips. See the Video th-cam.com/video/VdBnH5liipM/w-d-xo.html I wish you much success. If you have questions, just contact me. bye
Thanks dear Bhromor Mukherjee I can only suggest to you, to buy them, they are not so expencive and last a very long time. You can use them for so much different quilling works and can make many nice things with them. You get them in the DIY store to a good price in different diameters to 1 meter length, let it be cut by about 13-15cm length, mostly they offer this for free. In many of my flower tutorials I use it for shaping the flower petals in this video you can see how to make in a easy way nice Ring Coils. th-cam.com/video/c9V60ZBK7W4/w-d-xo.html Alternative you can use also the back side of brushes or other things you find which are round. This dowels which I use in the video I bought about middle of 2015 and have used them very much for different works they are still like new.
You can use this glue like I introduce in this Video with the brand Name UHU here you can see more about: www.uhu-profishop.com/uhu-multi-purpose-adhesive-twist-glue-solvent-free-bottle-100g.html or you can use a self made glue-mixture which I have dried later and it functions much better. Here in this Video I introduce it for the first time: th-cam.com/video/MtY4hYM7M-s/w-d-xo.html I tried it later for roses, it funktions very well, you can bent the petals much better as with UHU, but it is also a bit more difficulte to use and handel it need practice. By the way my Name is Bridgit and not hey.
