It got an movie adaptation made out of it with stars Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd.

As an Australian, I can confirm that we all love our sausages burnt to a crisp. That's why we make such a big deal about bunnings snags- if you're lucky enough to not be picked for a meat sacrifice while waiting in line, you'll be rewarded with an extra-burnt meat cylinder.
Sometimes shoveling the disintegrated sausage ash into your mouth gets tedious, but it's always worth it in the end.
I love that the culture of our great nation can be summarised with ACDC, Bunnings, Crocodile Dundee, VB, vegemite, kangaroos, all of the animals wanting you dead and most of them being able to do it before you can dial 000, being upside down and being not real.

Funny story about that "there's something stuck up in the chimney" song: I used to work a night shift from midnight to 8 am in a store where no one came in after about 2, and the radio was only allowed to play specific Sirius stations. At Christmas time it switched from the usual station to a holiday mix one, and during one of my shifts at about 3 am, when no one had been in for at least an hour, that song started playing. I'd never heard it before, and there was no other sound in the store. I haven't heard it on any radio since and none of my coworkers had heard it. I was incredibly freaked out.
It's a pretty terrifying song in the first place and I'm kind of surprised that it would be on any radio station considering that it's about Santa being stuck in and decomposing inside a chimney.
The murder rendition of "You’re Welcome" was great. I love the connection you made between Sweeney Todd and musical. Thank you such a grand video.

Does it really counts as selling stolen items if the items are recicled into diferent clothing? Plus, its for a good cause. Theyre clearly reporpusing what the dead has no use for anymore. And they help others by doing so! If this couple are criminals, then doing honest work is a crime.😌

It's more like someone just saying they're not selling drugs or fencing stolen goods or mooching off of other people's work, like royalty and nobility in the old days used to. Making an 'honest living' is simply doing something through hard work and your own two hands, without resorting to stealing or something.

Me, an Australian, getting excited seeing a Bunnings snags joke
"Nobody's going to make a movie out of this..." said Kevin, 15 years after somebody made a movie out of the 200 year old story.
But its really the same story? Why would they change his profesion from barber to something completely diferent like tailor if they wanted to adapt Sweeney Todd? Feels like they wanted to used the basic premise but none of the drama that comes with it, and they change the profesion for something more convenient for the gameplay. That is to say, Kevin assumed theyre completely diferent stories. Hence why he actually references Sweeney Todd later in the video.

It's a musical play as well, so there are several versions available, but the movie is the most well-known version for a lot of people.

It's been a really long time since I've been able to watch a Call Me Kevin video. I'm starting to untangle myself from a year-long relationship that is delvng into dangerous territory and I made the decision to move out of the apartment and back to a safer place. I finally have an opportunity alone and away from him to watch something that I will enjoy and he isn't here hovering over my shoulder to scoff at it or get bothered that I'm doing something on my phone. It's such a crazy small thing, but thank you for making me laugh today when I truly needed the distraction.
I had a boyfriend like that he done other things too but i hated feeling like shit for watching or listening to something he found interesting and hed be on his phone all the time and i got yelled at for even texting a friend hello lol im sorry you went through that im happy youre getting out though! It's easy to lose yourself in relationships (and even more so in abusive ones) and it can take some time to figure out what you want in life again, especially if you enter another relationship too shortly after.
Relationships can teach you about what you do and don't want, but alone time is very important to learn about yourself too. There's no need to rush!

Kevin's singing in a video shows how much he's enjoying himself it's always entertaining to watch and hear.
One time my nephew was crying and I played one of his stream videos and at one point Kevin starts sing the songs Wonderwall and House of Gold. The little guy starts dancing it was a very pleasant day.
