    I have purchased the iHost and connected it to my homekit .. all sonoff devices been added but shows "No respond" this with the apple tv is my main hub and iHost as a bridge .. then i made a new home and added iHost only as a bridge and they worked but only can use them locally. Am i doing something wrong ?

    Homebridge is so obsolete. Can you Bridge these sonoff Devices with Matter?

    Nice video 🎉
    Hello, I know that I can configure a plugin to use Ewelink devices in the Apple home app using homebridge.
    But I had a doubt that if I add a zigbee device to the ihost, will I be able to control it within the home app (apple)? Having the Homebridge plugin downloaded

      @csongorvarga  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah sure. I mean in the video the door sensor, motion sensor was all Zigbee. Those were only sensors so there is nothing to control on them, but should work the same way for zigbee relays.

    @csongorvarga I have an oddball question. Will the switches operate without power going into each bank? For instance: add 120v power to main inlet and use the four switches to run speaker signal through, being able to sever the audio connection through a speaker wire.

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry, which device you refer to? The CH4 Pro has a separate power input, and the 4 channels are completely independeny from the power source and you can use it to switch low voltage sources for example speaker signals.

    after watching this video, i developed interest in smart home configuration. Can i have a beginner step by step video for configuration ?

    Awesome video..
    Can you check yourself if "invited people to my home app" can control the devices too ?
    Thanks!

    Hello, magyarul is kérdezhetek? Az eWeLink Apple homkit csatlakozásához az ihost eszközt kell megvenni és beállítani? Ez működik minden régi Sonoff relével is?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most pont elkutyultam az iPhone-omat így nem tudtam leellenőrizni, de igen. Az iHost-on a eWelink Smart Home plug-in synkronizálja a Wifis eszközöket és a Homebridge plugin pedig elérhetővé teszi azokat a HomeKit alatt.

    Homehik Works only the same local network? Its work when i out of the Home and local network?

      This only worked when I am at home. But I think if I had a HomePod or other Apple hub it would work from anywhere.

      I made this video to show the integration, I have almost no experience on how Apple Homekit works, but it only gives you local access, since everything is local. Maybe you need a different Apple device like a Homepod to allow access to these devices when you are outside your home network.

      You, once you complete the process I shown in the video and the devices are visible in the Home app, you can control these devices with voice.

    ihost is great but there is just one small problem. You can't share a homebridge with another device ;(

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, I did not know that. You cannot link multiple iphones to the same homebridge server?

    • @vizor4u
      @vizor4u ปีที่แล้ว

      nope… there can be a way if you can run two instances of the homebridge but this functionality is not available

    Buongiorno Io ho acquistato ihost per gestire i sonoff quando non c'è internet l'ho installato e tutto a parte le tre ore per capirci qualcosa e caricare i dispositivi ma alla fine mi ha fatto tutto ho creato delle scene ma guarda caso stamattina piove e non c'è internet e non funziona niente questo coso non serva a niente e in poche parole come fa a collegarsi in locale se questo strumento non è collegato tramite un cavo a un dispositivo cioè nel momento in cui manca internet non serve a niente questo hub.
    Qualcuno di voi ha avuto esperienza del genere o consigliarmi come installarlo in un computer o da qualche altra parte cioè funziona tramite bluetooth boh non so più cosa pensare?

    Are there Sonoff devices that I can plug to for example front gate to send ping to it but not by wifi but zigbee/radio ? So I can add it to homekit as switch and then open the gate. I had some devices in the pase but based on Wifi and it was weak. Then moved to Somfy IO transmitter based on radio and it works perfectly but it's not integrated with homekit.

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the Sonoff Basic and the Sonoff mini both have a zigbee version. Also there is a Sonoff Zigbee mini Extreme. So there are a few.

      @@csongorvarga many thanks. Do you think there is a way to charge it with batteries instead of wires?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tomaszswietlikowski7804 If you want batteries you can get zigbee door sensors that are activated with a magnet. All the zigbee door sensors I have seen are indoor models, but you can probably place them in a waterproof container and use a stronger magnet so it work across the container.

      @@csongorvarga I was asking more about this device under the switch. Let's imagine want to add new wall switch to automate something and then manage it manually but I don't have any wires in this specific place. So I need a battery based device that i can hide under the switch that will trigger something when clicked.

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@tomaszswietlikowski7804 Ah sorry, I get you. There are battery operated zigbee buttons from Sonoff as well. And they support single press, double press and long press, so you could configure 3 actions on them. Again you need to make it waterproof. If you take it apart you can probably find the terminals of the small switch inside of it, and wire a bigger switch (momentary switch) to it.
