I think, that Gil&Arturia would be 5stars, Emiya may be f2p character with eidolons being throughout the event, and rest of characters 4stars. Even Emiya might be a 4star, if u take a look at fgo. I suppose that for berserker there are plenty of chance to become a skin for Clara
The UBW route is the only route where they mentioned the Counterforce, and it's likely the reason why that route was chosen. The Counterforce is like a defense mechanism that prevents a "world" from going extinct. Archer Emiya is the Counter guardian of Earth's Counterforce, which implies he could show up in the collab. It's logically the only connecting UBW with HSR. We're saving planets in HSR, so the Counterforce is most definitely involved. There a chance we will have a Holy Grail War, but I personally think it's a bit slim. But at the same time, a Stellaron and a Holy Grail could be similar in some ways.

I actually had an idea for how Archer would play. He'd start out as Imaginary or physical destruction or hunt. His skills would be the basic dps kind of focused skills, it gets interesting with his ult. So, yes, his ult changes everything to UBW, but it also changes his skills, like Firefly's ult changes how her skills look and their use too. Now he is basicly an Erudition with Argenti levels of AoE
Medusa could be like a quantum nihility which is able to freeze/stone enemies without breaking and for saber I think wind could be more possible bc didn’t they say when she uses Excalibur uses like the atmosphere or smth and sucks the energy out of it also considering they need 2 new characters per patch which means 5 patches a total of 10 characters which means either a lot of characters will be coming or some randoms
I don't think there will be any more physical destruction characters because there are already 2 of them now, even if it would make the most sense for archer and berserker. I think berserker will be shifted to physical preservation as a result. As for archer, I am not sure.

1 year is a pretty big gap, and we already have 3 limited electro characters and the most the game has from limiteds are destruction, nihility and hunt, and since these are the most pulled types, i doubt they change it very much Like, 1.1 nihility, 1.2 nihility 2.0 nihility 2.1 nihility 2.4 nihility There is no pattern on who comes when with what type, as far i noticed, and as Kalo said, it matters by characters, if we get gilgames, 100 eru, gate of bablyon is the ultimate aoe attack, berserk would much likely work like blade but with agro and resurections, i can imagine lancer being destruction thanks to gae bolg, archer 100% hunt, can't argue

An interesting mechanic for Archer as a DPS, it would be like Jing liu's special meter where if he filled it. His ult will change from Caladborg II to UBW while giving attack buff or a big def debuff to all enemies and then Damage to AOE. Or if you want him as a tank that leans with Rho Aias that has the same Meter as his DPS one but the purpose of UBW is giving everyone Damage reduction + Damage to AOE(This one is directly taken from [Oath Under Snow] Shirou's mechanic in Grand summoners)

You're right about FGO. That's why it blows my mind how it can stay afloat at the top 10 of gacha revenue. Even top 5 when the banner is good. Fate have very loyal fans.
Archer, no energy like Acheron, fills his stacks like Acheron through ubw chanting 'I am the bone of my sword' he should definitely be PHYSICAL, yknow to theme the 'my body is steel' or something he'll be hunt, but when he activates UBW he'll turn erudition.
someone with common sense, but i think its unlikely for a character to switch classes during mid battle from Hunt to Erudition. So destruction is prolly just best for him too since its a class thats good for both single target and aoe

Rin will probably be fire elemental harmony, abundance, or nihility (and probably a 4 star designed to work with Archer in some way). Having an Illya skin would be so sick.

For Rin unless she ends up being a duo with Archer, I can see her being a 4 star Quantum Nihility. For Assassin, Lancer, Kotomine, and possibly Rider if they end up being in the game, I can see them being 4 stars as well since I don't feel like at least a couple of them were that relevant. Originally what I had in mind was Saber being a 5 star Wind Preservation, but imaginary I guess, and destruction would be a lot better now that I think about it. There is even a reference to Archer with Childe from Genshin since they both do the same shit, but for this game I feel like he could either have a skill similar to Blade that enhances his abilities or an ult similar to Firefly that switches him to his blades. Gilgamesh being a 5 star Imaginary Erudition is the most obvious choice, also what I find funny is that the cutscenes got Ningguang who is a 4 star resembling him in the cutscenes. Idk if Caster as Harmony would make sense since she looks like she mostly does damage, but maybe Nihility could? And for Berserker if he don't end up being playable, it would actually be interesting if they end up being a skin for Clara and Svarog since they are pretty much a reference to them (at least this time Clara will finally have some shoes). If he was, maybe he could powercreep both Clara and Yunli like Neuvilette did to Childe and Ayato. And finally, Shirou could be a 4 star Lightning Destruction with a similar ult to Firefly for the same reason as Archer
Cause its a collab with Fate Stay Night UBW and if the Collab patch is going to have collab characters only in the banners then i could think of Shiro Emiya and Rin Tohsaka as 4 stars and then cause its UBW obviously Archer as a 5 star and Saber but hopefully we get more then 2 five-stars as collab 5 stars...but Gilgamesh is probably going to be the event boss or the grail...or something completly new,just my opinion AND I AM HYPED!!!😆😆
The funny thing about Archer is he can technically be Preservation too with Rho Aias Edit: They can also make Archer a "Transformation" or "Stance Change" type character where he's ranged as base but UBE he is melee.
In terms of watch order Zero as you said, optional. DEEN's Stay Night is optional. UNLESS you want to watch Artoria as the main love interest. UBW then HF. This section is for those who are curious about the OTHER Fates. It is all depending on which title you want to shift towards next. If FGO is your goal watch the OVA which is the start of FGO then look up the singularity order online IN CASE by the time you read this comment that FGO has adapted all the Singularities. If not then it would be Camelot to Babylonia into Solomon. Don't ask me why they adapted backwards for the timelines I'm just as lost as you. I honestly don't encourage Fate Extra Encore unless you've played the Extra games. But you can watch it still even if you haven't played them. It's just not the best title of them all. Apocrypha you kinda need to know Zero but you don't have to know Zero. This is because Zero events don't lead to it but it offers slight context. The same applies to the upcoming Fake Strange. In regards to Case Files you definitely should watch Zero because of the MC. While UBW isn't a must it does provide a bit more into a certain character that makes an appearance that shows up at the end of UBW. Said MC for Case Files is there too. While on the topic of Case Files it does have someone who is from it in Fake Strange, so it is best to get a better understanding of them to watch Case Files.
I think the servants would be 5 star-limited characters, then Shirou, Rin, and Kotomine would be 4 star characters (however, I have a wild guess that Clara-Svarog will have the privilege of having skin as Ilya-Berserker)
I disagree with lancer and assassin being physical. Both of their shticks are warping reality. Lancer reverses causality, and assassin slashes so fast his sword duplicates. Quantum or imaginary would be way more likely than physical, and I would put both on quantum personally. Now for a wild thought: Clara is getting directly powercrept by yunli. Berserker+Ilya would work amazingly as Clara’s skin. Clara is a standard banner character. What if they just give everyone a free Clara so they can have access to the skin?
Here's my take: I'm honestly thinking that we're only getting one character for this collab and it's: Archer. For one, he's already teased. But it's his route so it makes sense. It's his story. Now, if hoyo feels generous, they'll give us two: Saber comes in. Why? She's the poster girl of fate and she's like the second main heroine in ubw. And now, if hoyo feels very very generous and wants to give us 3: Comes Archer K-pop Gilgamesh. Why? He's very popular. He's the final boss of UBW. I'm gonna whale if he does appear. Now, I don't think we'll get Tohsaka as a playable character. But just maybe, she could be a 4star character that does debuff. UWB is her and archer's story afterall. Same thing with Shirou, his abilities would be the same with Archer. He could be a good Archer Skin though. Illya and berserker would be nice to have as skins for Clara.
It will probably be Rin out of battle and Archer in battle as the firefly. Emiya will probably be like that too. Clara will have an Illya skin. Saber could be a Yunli skin. I can't see Sakura as a character but HSR always manages to surprise. Rider can be a skin
Sorry guys to break your hype. Chance of every servant getting pulled is unlikely. Realistically like every banner, 2 5* star and 1 4*star, collab banner isn't too far from this, maybe if they are so dedicated they can add 1/2 more characters or instead they can just make skins. Also, i got info from some leakers (don't take blindly), but this seems plausible, likely only masters (shirou, rin, etc) can be pulled as characters and the gameplay style is the master summons his servants, so Shirou summons Saber, Rin summons Archer, Ilya summons Berserker, etc. So, don't raise your expectations too high so as not to be so disappointed later. But, I'm still a little hopeful that Rin is playable (in whatever form) LoL
I don't think they will make all the character physically even tho it makes sense, to make the Collab more diverse I'm sure they'll make all the characters different path and elements. Hurc can be destruction fire, archer can be hunt/erudition quantum, lancer can be hunt wind. Making all of them physical or imaginary would be boring
Fate was where my story began and now after all the years UBW will be coming back while I do like Saber UBW is all about Archer and I believe in this collab we definitely need to get Archer

I am 100000% certain on one thing if saber gets in, she is NOT going to be wind type damage. this is because in the battlecats collab. her unit and chibi cat unit were both units with the "strong against floating" ability, floating type enemies are basically the equivelant of wind type enemies meaning that she herself would not be a wind type unit
too much chars being put in physical, i feel like players forget that just because the character has a certain fighting style that it means they have to logically be based on the fighting style and put into the path/element that is similar to that.
I am begging you to make Gilgamesh playable. I would also have a nice idea for a passive for him, the more money you have, the more damage you do (for example, 1 million is 5% more damage and the max would be at 3-5 milions)

There is even a reference to Archer with Childe from Genshin since they both do the same shit, but for this game I feel like he could either have a skill similar to Blade that enhances his abilities or an ult similar to Firefly that switches him to his blades. Gilgamesh being a 5 star Imaginary Erudition is the most obvious choice, also what I find funny is that the cutscenes got Ningguang who is a 4 star resembling him in the cutscenes. Idk if Caster as Harmony would make sense since she looks like she mostly does damage, but maybe Nihility could? And for Berserker if he don't end up being playable, it would actually be interesting if they end up being a skin for Clara and Svarog since they are pretty much a reference to them (at least this time Clara will finally have some shoes). If he was, maybe he could powercreep both Clara and Yunli like Neuvilette did to Childe and Ayato. And finally, Shirou could be a 4 star Lightning Destruction with a similar ult to Firefly for the same reason as Archer
Cause its a collab with Fate Stay Night UBW and if the Collab patch is going to have collab characters only in the banners then i could think of Shiro Emiya and Rin Tohsaka as 4 stars and then cause its UBW obviously Archer as a 5 star and Saber but hopefully we get more then 2 five-stars as collab 5 stars...but Gilgamesh is probably going to be the event boss or the grail...or something completly new,just my opinion AND I AM HYPED!!!😆😆
The funny thing about Archer is he can technically be Preservation too with Rho Aias
Edit: They can also make Archer a "Transformation" or "Stance Change" type character where he's ranged as base but UBE he is melee.

If FGO is your goal watch the OVA which is the start of FGO then look up the singularity order online IN CASE by the time you read this comment that FGO has adapted all the Singularities. If not then it would be Camelot to Babylonia into Solomon. Don't ask me why they adapted backwards for the timelines I'm just as lost as you.
I honestly don't encourage Fate Extra Encore unless you've played the Extra games. But you can watch it still even if you haven't played them. It's just not the best title of them all.
Apocrypha you kinda need to know Zero but you don't have to know Zero. This is because Zero events don't lead to it but it offers slight context. The same applies to the upcoming Fake Strange.
In regards to Case Files you definitely should watch Zero because of the MC. While UBW isn't a must it does provide a bit more into a certain character that makes an appearance that shows up at the end of UBW. Said MC for Case Files is there too. While on the topic of Case Files it does have someone who is from it in Fake Strange, so it is best to get a better understanding of them to watch Case Files.
I think the servants would be 5 star-limited characters, then Shirou, Rin, and Kotomine would be 4 star characters (however, I have a wild guess that Clara-Svarog will have the privilege of having skin as Ilya-Berserker)
Clara’s design is based on Illyasviel von Einzbern I’m hoping they add a skin for her for the collab

I disagree with lancer and assassin being physical. Both of their shticks are warping reality. Lancer reverses causality, and assassin slashes so fast his sword duplicates. Quantum or imaginary would be way more likely than physical, and I would put both on quantum personally.
Now for a wild thought: Clara is getting directly powercrept by yunli. Berserker+Ilya would work amazingly as Clara’s skin. Clara is a standard banner character. What if they just give everyone a free Clara so they can have access to the skin?
Here's my take:
I'm honestly thinking that we're only getting one character for this collab and it's:
Archer. For one, he's already teased. But it's his route so it makes sense. It's his story.
Now, if hoyo feels generous, they'll give us two:
Saber comes in. Why? She's the poster girl of fate and she's like the second main heroine in ubw.
And now, if hoyo feels very very generous and wants to give us 3:
Comes Archer K-pop Gilgamesh. Why? He's very popular. He's the final boss of UBW. I'm gonna whale if he does appear.
Now, I don't think we'll get Tohsaka as a playable character. But just maybe, she could be a 4star character that does debuff. UWB is her and archer's story afterall.
Same thing with Shirou, his abilities would be the same with Archer. He could be a good Archer Skin though.
Illya and berserker would be nice to have as skins for Clara.
It will probably be Rin out of battle and Archer in battle as the firefly. Emiya will probably be like that too.
Clara will have an Illya skin. Saber could be a Yunli skin. I can't see Sakura as a character but HSR always manages to surprise. Rider can be a skin

Sorry guys to break your hype. Chance of every servant getting pulled is unlikely. Realistically like every banner, 2 5* star and 1 4*star, collab banner isn't too far from this, maybe if they are so dedicated they can add 1/2 more characters or instead they can just make skins. Also, i got info from some leakers (don't take blindly), but this seems plausible, likely only masters (shirou, rin, etc) can be pulled as characters and the gameplay style is the master summons his servants, so Shirou summons Saber, Rin summons Archer, Ilya summons Berserker, etc. So, don't raise your expectations too high so as not to be so disappointed later. But, I'm still a little hopeful that Rin is playable (in whatever form) LoL
I don't think they will make all the character physically even tho it makes sense, to make the Collab more diverse I'm sure they'll make all the characters different path and elements. Hurc can be destruction fire, archer can be hunt/erudition quantum, lancer can be hunt wind. Making all of them physical or imaginary would be boring

I am 100000% certain on one thing if saber gets in, she is NOT going to be wind type damage. this is because in the battlecats collab. her unit and chibi cat unit were both units with the "strong against floating" ability, floating type enemies are basically the equivelant of wind type enemies meaning that she herself would not be a wind type unit
I have 0 expectations for this collab we might get skins but I don't think we'll get any characters from fate
too much chars being put in physical, i feel like players forget that just because the character has a certain fighting style that it means they have to logically be based on the fighting style and put into the path/element that is similar to that.
I am begging you to make Gilgamesh playable. I would also have a nice idea for a passive for him, the more money you have, the more damage you do (for example, 1 million is 5% more damage and the max would be at 3-5 milions)
