I did that and the jig doesn't swim straight anymore. I had the same though and used some hooks from their 3/4 ounce tail spin and put them on the 7 gram. The jig started swimming side ways.
You should head over to Dixon this weekend and try to get your limit and get a banger vid for the channel. They stock 4000 lbs of Trout on the 28th and 2000 lbs of trout on the 30th. The lake is closed from 28-29.
