Screw ups aside, this was a great review. Also, don't be afraid to screw up. It makes you more relatable and shows you're in touch with your human side. Personally, this review made me want to get another classics Prime, the G3 trailer, and this DIA commander set.
Thank you for the review, I'm going to dig mine out of storage. I thought it was only a TFCon exclusive for like the past ~10 years, lol! Didn't know there as a Asia market release. I have the same version as you I guess.
I love things like this. I'm a life long TF fan but I kinda quit after Beast Wars and then didn't realize Hasbro was making legit TFs until a few a years ago when I saw both some Power of the Prime and Titans Return guys at a grocery store for sale. I thought everything but the movie versions were dead..... now my shelves and my wife's anger otherwise will tell you something else. Lol!.... Also love the gun that's as big as he is! Lol! Great stuff!
@@symbiote1982pkI didn't miss them. I knew that the movies had toy lines but I never gave it one glance. I really can't stand the movie designs and I just didn't know their was other stuff. My comment is pretty old. Now I have more Transformers than I do room to display them.
Great review Bert The Stormtrooper!!!!!!! If I ever get this set, I'm going to try and find the blue tractor cab version to make this Delta Magnus. :D Keep on being amazing.
Love this set. If I can manage to find it, I will also have to get a new Classics OP, since the one I have was upgraded with the Primo Vitalis kit... At least I think that is what it was called. The Classics is properly named, because it is a classic. :-)
I have recently been looking for some of the Fansproject upgrade kits, so I find it interesting that you just happen to do a review of one of them around the same time. Are you reading my mind? Lol
I think the Red armor is suuperior as it is all one piece once installed and has no more partsforming than the base figure, as that one also had the roof and smokestacks turn into guns
This set is more than 12 years old. It's is not available from any retailer that I'm aware of. I had to hunt on Ebay and collecting groups and had to employ patience. It took me about a year to find a set at a price I was happy to pay. Good luck hunting.
This was my first encounter with a third party TF kit as a kid ages ago. I still remember that cool comic instruction manual for Magnus.
Thanks for watching!

This is an old upgrade kit from many years ago. If he broke it, he'd be SCREWED.
Thanks for the kinds words and thanks for watching!

I believe the TFCon exclusive came with a briefcase for the figure to hold.
Thanks for watching!
So, these armors were really a trend back then.
They were the best! I really miss Fansproject, they were the best 3rd party company IMO
Still wish they were
I love this trailer. I have had this Optimus figure for years. Now I have a reason to pull it out of storage.
Thanks for watching!

How did you manage to miss the movies being a thing? They were everywhere for a time.

I see all, I hear all! LOL

Just got this!
Thanks for watching!
Morning Bert the Stormtrooper.
Good morning!
I have 2 of these, a white one for Magnus and the Black one for Nemesis
Be sure to check out the review for this one.

Reminds me of delta Magnus
That's because the original, pre-TF "Powered Convoy" went on to become Delta Magnus in TF continuity.
Thanks for watching!
You know that is Delta Convoy/SG Ultra Magnus' Armor, right?
Not according to the package it came in but you can call yours anything you'd like.
I call mine Bobby
SG Magnus being a rehash of Delta is a new thing. Before this the only thing they had in common was their color pallet was based on Powered Convoy's.
Nope, it's powered convoy, they can stick as many new names on that colour way that they want but that doesn't change what it originally was.
cool
Thanks for watching!
Is this set still available?

Ai yi yi ai, those gorilla hands on that armor.
The wrists are so long.
