Scott, that is a cb/ham radio microphone holder similar to this one. Areyourshop 75WXST Two Way Radio Holder Walkie Talkie Bracket for Wrangler JL 2018+ www.amazon.com/dp/B07KS6BK7C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_NAPZBYX80P4CW9FR5A97
Yes, still liking it. I've gotten used to it on the dash and don't know it's there most of the time. I thought it would be intrusive but it never bothered me.
I'm using a Ram ball plate adapter which I put velcro on. Another piece of velcro on detector and it then sits on the plate adapter. Shoot me an email and I can send some pics which should answer your questions. Swimman1 at gmail dot com
Just picked up one of these for the TACO cannot wait to install it!!
Look great! A question I have on something you have install on the grab bar, is that for a radio? Looks like it. What is that product? Thx

Hey! What did you use for your radar detector? A phone holder, magnetic or some better accessory from BulletPoint?
what kind of mount did you end up getting for the radar, I to would like to not use the window mount but the way they mount I can't find nothing
