Man, I've been researching and reading reviews of true wireless earbuds and your reviews are so detailed informative, and well done. I love the comparisons against other earbuds and I kinda want to get these CX TWS now. They are on sale at my place for 99$ which seems like a steal to me.
Watched the vid using my CX400BT's. I love these things. Fantastic sound quality is the one thing Sennheiser will never compromise on. When I saw that the CX TW was coming out, I was pretty excited but then I wondered if it would be worth upgrading from my 400BT. I think you helped answer that. The sound quality is (should be) the same but you are getting a few smaller differences that should be notable so yeah, they're probably worth the 30 extra dollars. But then there's the MTW2... tempting.
I'd wait for discounts on the MTW2 if you really need ANC. We've seen them drop as low as $189 recently. Some expect them to drop to $150 at some point.

I just ordered these from Amazon on yesterday. Can't wait to get them as they will be my 1st Sennheiser set. Will be replacing my 1More Comfo Buds Mini which have gone waaaayyyy south since the latest firmware update (sound like $20 earbuds without the app and not much better with it, plus won't connect and app keeps turning on when using other earbuds). Your review helped to seal the deal for me!!
@@ELJefeReviews Update: These are now my daily drivers. Absolutely digging the sound quality and app. Just wish they were a little smaller and had wireless charging but no deal breaker. I prefer leaving the Bass Boost off and created a custom EQ with bass just above the middle, mids pushed up above it, then treble pushed up (eq looks like this.../...but a little less slanted). Thx and keep pushing out content on the latest and greatest earbuds n headphones!!

Thanks for putting these through their paces. Kind of confused about lack of ambient sound and wireless charging in a lot of buds. At this time it seems like it should be a given. I expect them to sound good, but not amazing, so features need to take up the slack.

Thanks for the review. I ended up buying these and they sound ridiculous for the price. ANC is overrated especially when you're pumping tunes or watching a movie, the passive isolation does the job. I do recommend foam replacement tips for a better seal and fit.
I just got the new CX buds and the biggest thing I enjoy is the great sound quality and less lag with these on Android with Bluetooth 5.2. It is a noticable difference VS the Momentum 2 TWS buds. That is on Android you don't have that problem on iOS with the Momentum 2 TWS buds with lag in videos. So I really enjoy the CX buds while watching videos and movies. Great review!

I got the Edifier Neobuds Pro sound quality and anc x ambient (ambient is not better than Life q30) is terrific but, honestly I'm quite struggling with the battery life., Should I buy the Liberty 3 Pro or Sennheiser momentum 2 or the Sony? . Just got these. At first a little too bass heavy for my taste but an eq adjustment fixed that and the sound is bangin'. Sennheiser is proven audio purveyors and these don't disappoint.

Thanks for the review! First one I’ve seen with a comparison with CX400BT. I got the CX400BT for $80. I have small ears, the CX400BT do fit but stick out really bad. Replaced the tips with spinfits just so it’ll be more secure.

Man, I truly appreciate your videos. I am a person with extreme visual limitation in the way you break things down help me in my mind Earbuds. A couple of questions. My three go twos right now or first off my job or elite 75T because that boom just makes my day. The back up if you’re just listening to podcasts are the EARFUN free just because I wanted to try them out and I found out I liked them. The only high-end truly wireless I own are being an old Susan and probably the biggest letdown I have had on earbuds as of yet. That being said where do the CX fall in those categories? For years are used wired Sennheiser and sure earbuds. Thank you in advance for your help I really want to get back to Sennheiser I just don’t want to spend a big bunch of money and be let down but I was on the bee and owes. There is a Astros to those Verizon had them on sale for 150 so I didn’t take that bad of a beating. Great video there's a lot of people that f*** their hearing up by listening to music too loud I recommend if you want to listen to your music really loud either get a Bluetooth speaker or play it in your car. I've never tried sennheisers before but I hear they're really great
So I'm stuck between a couple of earbuds. In you opinion, to a friend, if they asked you Anker soundcore life a2 nc, Samsung galaxy buds plus, or Sennheiser CX which would you recommend? They all do what I want them to do, I just don't know which is better.
@@ELJefeReviews I just wanna be watching TH-cam and spotify. I'm no audiophile and probably will be happy with any of them sound wise. Things like isolation don't matter to me cause I'm just going to be using one earbud generally, but all of these support left and right solo use so it's fine. The life a2 nc are noise cancelling, but I see myself probably never using anc. So really it comes down to comfort and general quality of use. I just wanna know what earbud you had the overall best experience with. Also I wanna know which one is the least likely to fall out of my ears cause while listening to music I walk around and have that fear of losing it. TLDR I want them for TH-cam and spotify. Which one has the nicest overall experience (Bluetooth doesn't cut out, software doesn't bug out, earbud charges properly and doesn't fail to connect) while not falling out of my ears. Note: My ears are slightly above average in size

I got them 9 months , both pods broken , one cutting off the sound , the other don’t connect to the Bluetooth, wouldn’t buy these ones as they will brake quickly , and I was taking care of them , both pods broken and nobody fix them.😢

Good video! Detailed, and to the point. Agree mostly on everything except the Sound Quality ranking (personal choice of course) Beats Studio Buds would be last. The Mids on those are almost non-existent or just pushed back, with Treble and Bass bumped up. The Bass is more controlled this time around on the Beats Studio but with that said in my opinion...the Galaxy Buds Pro are just superior in every way! The fit and comfort will obviously play a big factor. Love your content!

Sennheiser Momentum TW2 or Sony WF-1000MX4 Awesome videos bro! Love the in depth and concise info. I really like the music recommendations for sound tests...my go to is anything Fleetwood Mac, but Dreams and The Chain do the trick every time. Outkast and 40 fa sho! You often ask the question "what do we look for in headphones" and my top 2 traits are ambient/transparent mode (so I can listen at work without ignoring coworkers) and sound quality. This has me torn between Sennheiser Momentum TW2 and Sony WF-1000MX4. Is either app noticeably better than the other? It seems like Sennheiser Momentum is in a class by itself when it comes to sound quality, but can you make a recommendation based on ambient mode? Thank you for all you do, bossman!
this man is underrated picked up this pair after hearing from flossy but wanted to watch his video and he went in full depth and I found it awesome flossy is great at hyping it up and just making products a must buy while EL goes in full detail about the product and has a very honest review (not saying flossy doesn't he also does as well)
great video I jumped on the Sennheiser momentum 2's after watching your comparison vid between sony XM4's and it and you didnt let me down....but for me the reason I went Sennheiser over the sony's is because the sonys hurt my ears--maybe because i have smaller ear canals but the sonys hurt after 30 minutes of use--i remember you commenting on someone's video that said the same thing--if it wasnt for the pain i would love the sony's...but if you got smaller ear canals the Sennheiser momentum 2's are the way to go trust me
I'm looking at different earbuds to buy, soundcore liberty air 2, lg tone free or the oneplus buds z. I found the liberty air 2 at 80$ and the two others at about 50$. What would you recommend me buying? I have a Oneplus Nord btw

It seems enough people are using tws for sleeping. So in addition to noise canceling, how about some white noise and water fountain background fillers to drown out sounds, mainly snoring?
I would absolutely order these right now - but that they appear to go so deep in the ear canal is a deal breaker for me. Meanwhile, the Beats studio buds sound worse, but they don’t seem to go as deep.

I am confused in between Sony WF-C500, Samsung Galaxy buds 2 and this Sennheiser CX True Wireless. I would rather choose Sennheiser one, but I am worried about using it outside. Means that losing or falling out from my ear on the road, bus or anywhere else rather than my home, because it has not that much snuggle that I need. To me the best way to test mics is to talk to as many people as possible in different situations to gauge their reactions. If I'm getting a bunch of negative feedback without asking them to give me feedback then I know my microphones stink. I had to beat studio buds for about 2 weeks and talk to about 45 people and the majority of them could not hear or understand me so they were sent back.
Do you actually think I’m not calling people to test these microphones? This is simply the best way to illustrate since I won’t be sharing my private phone calls on public TH-cam videos.
Heya, How would you compare them with the piston buds pro? the price diffrence is around 50usd - I trully love the 1more comfobuds pro but it does not fit biking etc. I use the Jabra T65 for biking but I would like to replace it as it isn't that good.

OnePlus if you like bass more than balance. Also, OnePlus gives you much more features like multipoint, ANC, and ambient modes.

Man, I truly appreciate your videos. I am a person with extreme visual limitation in the way you break things down help me in my mind Earbuds.
A couple of questions. My three go twos right now or first off my job or elite 75T because that boom just makes my day. The back up if you’re just listening to podcasts are the EARFUN free just because I wanted to try them out and I found out I liked them. The only high-end truly wireless I own are being an old Susan and probably the biggest letdown I have had on earbuds as of yet. That being said where do the CX fall in those categories? For years are used wired Sennheiser and sure earbuds.

The CX are similar to the 75t but with smoother sound. Not much of an upgrade between them.
Hundred percent right about the wireless charging. I cannot believe that they dropped the ball on that.

I'm not going to pay more for the 400bt over the CX true wireless, just not worth it...

Great video there's a lot of people that f*** their hearing up by listening to music too loud I recommend if you want to listen to your music really loud either get a Bluetooth speaker or play it in your car. I've never tried sennheisers before but I hear they're really great
So I'm stuck between a couple of earbuds. In you opinion, to a friend, if they asked you Anker soundcore life a2 nc, Samsung galaxy buds plus, or Sennheiser CX which would you recommend? They all do what I want them to do, I just don't know which is better.

@@ELJefeReviews I just wanna be watching TH-cam and spotify. I'm no audiophile and probably will be happy with any of them sound wise. Things like isolation don't matter to me cause I'm just going to be using one earbud generally, but all of these support left and right solo use so it's fine. The life a2 nc are noise cancelling, but I see myself probably never using anc. So really it comes down to comfort and general quality of use. I just wanna know what earbud you had the overall best experience with. Also I wanna know which one is the least likely to fall out of my ears cause while listening to music I walk around and have that fear of losing it.
TLDR I want them for TH-cam and spotify. Which one has the nicest overall experience (Bluetooth doesn't cut out, software doesn't bug out, earbud charges properly and doesn't fail to connect) while not falling out of my ears.
Note: My ears are slightly above average in size
For comfort, Galaxy Buds+. For sound, Sennheiser CX.

Yes. H1 has high volume but I would choose Sennheiser for sound quality over H1.
I got them 9 months , both pods broken , one cutting off the sound , the other don’t connect to the Bluetooth, wouldn’t buy these ones as they will brake quickly , and I was taking care of them , both pods broken and nobody fix them.😢

Good video! Detailed, and to the point. Agree mostly on everything except the Sound Quality ranking (personal choice of course) Beats Studio Buds would be last. The Mids on those are almost non-existent or just pushed back, with Treble and Bass bumped up. The Bass is more controlled this time around on the Beats Studio but with that said in my opinion...the Galaxy Buds Pro are just superior in every way! The fit and comfort will obviously play a big factor. Love your content!

Sennheiser has better sound quality. Easily. But no ANC or Ambient modes.

Awesome videos bro! Love the in depth and concise info. I really like the music recommendations for sound tests...my go to is anything Fleetwood Mac, but Dreams and The Chain do the trick every time. Outkast and 40 fa sho!
You often ask the question "what do we look for in headphones" and my top 2 traits are ambient/transparent mode (so I can listen at work without ignoring coworkers) and sound quality. This has me torn between Sennheiser Momentum TW2 and Sony WF-1000MX4.
Is either app noticeably better than the other?

great video I jumped on the Sennheiser momentum 2's after watching your comparison vid between sony XM4's and it and you didnt let me down....but for me the reason I went Sennheiser over the sony's is because the sonys hurt my ears--maybe because i have smaller ear canals but the sonys hurt after 30 minutes of use--i remember you commenting on someone's video that said the same thing--if it wasnt for the pain i would love the sony's...but if you got smaller ear canals the Sennheiser momentum 2's are the way to go trust me

I would absolutely order these right now - but that they appear to go so deep in the ear canal is a deal breaker for me. Meanwhile, the Beats studio buds sound worse, but they don’t seem to go as deep.
They do sit pretty deep.

I have extensive experience with the 75t. They do have great bass, but Sennheiser controls it much better.
I am confused in between Sony WF-C500, Samsung Galaxy buds 2 and this Sennheiser CX True Wireless. I would rather choose Sennheiser one, but I am worried about using it outside. Means that losing or falling out from my ear on the road, bus or anywhere else rather than my home, because it has not that much snuggle that I need. On the other hand I need rich and wide sound stage that I think definitely will give this pair of headphone. So please help me out of this!! 😕

To me the best way to test mics is to talk to as many people as possible in different situations to gauge their reactions. If I'm getting a bunch of negative feedback without asking them to give me feedback then I know my microphones stink. I had to beat studio buds for about 2 weeks and talk to about 45 people and the majority of them could not hear or understand me so they were sent back.
Do you actually think I’m not calling people to test these microphones? This is simply the best way to illustrate since I won’t be sharing my private phone calls on public TH-cam videos.

How would you compare them with the piston buds pro? the price diffrence is around 50usd - I trully love the 1more comfobuds pro but it does not fit biking etc. I use the Jabra T65 for biking but I would like to replace it as it isn't that good.
