    Nice video, I disassembled the stationary wheels (17 mm) bolt through the wheel itself. It made attaching the wheel bracket to the cabinet 100% easier with my power socket. Putting the wheel back together was about a minute a side.

    Thanks for posting this video. It was everything I needed to know about this drawer unit. Very thorough.

    HANDLE GOES ON THE SWIVEL CASTER SIDE, SO WHEN YOU PUSH THE HANDLE IT STEERS BETTER.

    Thanks for the video.
    Don't really understand why is it so important where you put the fixed wheels vs. lockable ones. I am planning on putting the lockable ones in the front.

    It fits my Highlander well. I bought 3 of these boxes. One has bottom rail problem, both sides’ rails are not leveling.

    Thanks for giving the dimensions of the shipping box, I needed to know how much I should unload out of my Durango before I go pick up my new box.

    You’re supposed to tilted sideways and cut the bottom tape all the way off and open that part on the bottom up so that you can just set it back down and pick the whole box up

    To put wheel on, I use flexhead wrench. Offset wrench might do the job as well.

    For the ladies watching this which may not know, and the video fast forwarded over this, the washer goes directly on the screw, then the screw into the wheel, then into the tool box. The washer is NOT a locking kind that is on the end inside the tool box. This is not shown in the diagram. Regarding the washer the rounded part of the washer is next to the screw and the flat side next to the wheel. Thank you for the video.

    Did you get the casters out of the drawer when the toolbox was sitting up or laying down. I’m assembling mine now and it’s laying down in my truck and I can’t get the key to rotate completely to open the drawers and I’m not sure if it’s broken or just needs to be stood upright to work properly

    • @timforgette

    Hello. So you have had this now for 2 years, still working out ok? drawer glides still smooth? do you put much weight in the drawers? i am thinking of getting one but price is now $350. thx. nice video btw.

    • @timforgette
      @timforgette 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! Yes. I’ve got it loaded up. It’s been flawless. If I had to do it again, I’d be willing to spend the $350.

    Thank you for the video. Harbor freight‘s website says the height is 40 1/2 inches. Could you please measure it and let me know if that is accurate? Also, the empty drawers squeak a bit when opening and closing. Do they continue to squeak even with weight in them? Thank you

    • @the4jetfamily
      @the4jetfamily  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. I just grabbed my tape measure and had a look. It is exactly 40 1/2" from the ground to the top lip. I haven't noticed any drawer squeaks. I'm sure a little lubrication would do the trick if they were.

    How do you take the drawer out.? I have one that's a little warped the top is dented and I need to straighten the top and I need to take the top drawer out. so if you can help me and show me how to take the drawer out I would greatly appreciate it so I can fix the top

    • @the4jetfamily
      @the4jetfamily  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, I don't believe it's designed for the consumer to remove the drawers. I just had a look with my son at our unit. I don't see a practical method of removal. Did you recently purchase yours with damage or did it occur after usage?

    • @Ziflinz
      @Ziflinz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@the4jetfamily If you haven't figured this out already, there is a black plastic "lever" on each side of the drawer (assuming it's like the double unit I have). You press up gently on the lever on one side and down on the other while sliding the drawer out. To put them back in, I try to start one side an inch or so and then get the other side in place and simply close the drawer.

    • @the4jetfamily
      @the4jetfamily  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ziflinz, good call! I didn't know those were there. I went out to have a look. It appears my "levers" are white, but I see what you're referring to. I'll have to give it a try.

      The interior dimensions for reach drawer are 22" wide by 19 1/2" deep. The interior height on the top three drawers are 1 1/2". The next two are 2 1/2". The next one is 3 1/2". The bottom two drawers have an interior height of 5 1/2", respectively.

  • @bowlweevil4161
    @bowlweevil4161 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    the one thing I needed to know was the depth of drawers, and I still don't know because you never even opened a drawer and let me see inside and who cares about the demisions of the cardboard box it came in, it's going in the trash anyway, what a waste of time

    • @the4jetfamily
      @the4jetfamily  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The drawer depth is 19 5/8". Although I do believe I did open the drawers and could see inside, I'm sorry I didn't cover the dimensions in the video. I do believe it was important to include the dimensions of the box it came in to know if it will fit in your vehicle. At 10:37 I said, "If you've got any comments or questions you can leave them down in the comments below. I will do my best to try and answer as many as I possibly can." Many others have respectfully done just that and I've been happy to help them. Perhaps you could rethink your approach. Please let me know if you have further questions.

      Giving the dimensions of the shipping box let's us know how much space is needed to load it up and get it home. I drive a Dodge Durango, the shipping box dimensions were EXACTLY what I needed to know.
