That phase with the modular synth stream, the Trump endorsement and the Infowars interviews was really weird but I think he found a good woman now who set him to a good path.
M Heberling probably the best intro in the history of rock music... its like all the melancholic 90s childhood nostalgia overload condensed into a few moments.
Much have been said about the brilliant guitar playing in this song. But this also showcases the drumming genius of Jimmy. All those hi-hat accents, snare ghost notes...wow.
I remember the day Gish came out. A friend and I drove down Berry Street in Fort Worth to our local Sound Warehouse and bam.....there it was on it's own little kiosk. The cover is etched into my retinas. Few moments were like that.
Single greatest show I've ever seen. I had grown up listening to the pumpkins and this entire show was a culmination of two decades of listening to them. Had goosebumps the entire time!
On behalf of all SP fans I will personally offer to punch anyone in the snout who bags out this tour. That was Fucking Amazing! For that song to be written 25yrs ago, be performed that beautifully, in 2018, by a guy that has put up with more than his fair share of shit from media, posers and even his own 'fans', is pure testament to Billy Corgan's power as a musician and his resilience to bullshit. We asked for the Pumpkins. We asked for 'the old stuff'. They DELIVERED. SP Forever!
He cracked a smile in there... I think that says it all. But let me say... Billy's a boss. He's taking album-period-guitars on the road and even playing songs from Machina too. I had a mission to be on this summer, so I couldn't go see them, but I'm just inspired by seeing this and knowing what they do and how they do it well.

I could not agree more. I felt sort of guilty getting tickets. If you ever liked them or still like them, get your tickets and GO. I'm not sure they'll ever go out like this again.
