I just started noticing crepey skin on my arms recently. I'll be 58 on Thursday. Thanks for the great info. I often feel overwhelmed when trying to pick out products. I've been mirroring your skin care routine for three months and many tell me they can really see a difference! I'm very happy with my results!
Oh my, I just bought the washing cloth a week ago...love it. I also have used the Olay lotion for about a year I guess. But, while I am in the shower before I towel dry, I use either a mixture of oils that I put together myself or I use the in shower body lotion by Nivea. And then pat dry. I have always (for at least 40 years) used body lotion after drying off. My skin is addicted to moisture in some form. I have used the paulas choice body lotion. I have the retinol moisturizer, and also have the two exfoliating body lotions. Taking the extra time to take care of my skin has always been important. Thanks for the update..xoxo
I have to thank you for mentioning in a previous video that chemical sunscreen caused redness on your skin. I have battled redness on my face for years and tried everything with no luck. When I switched to physical sunscreen the redness subsided within a couple weeks. I never dreamed that my sunscreen was the culprit. Thanks so much!
Angie, I love how you keep it real!!!!! Speaking for all of us with "less than perfect skin"! Your foundation videos are my favorite, as I too am in search of a "holy grail"!!!!!
Thank you Angie, I don't miss any of your videos, too much useful info to leave it out. And thank you all you ladies that have been commenting with the beauty products suggestions!
I love how diligent you are about exfoliating and moisturizing. I know that everyone has different preferences, but I try to avoid products with petrolatum. Petrolatum is a product derived from petroleum. I need to be more diligent about re-applying sunscreen to my hands throughout the day. My cubicle is near the window, so I'm sure I'm getting more sun exposure than I'd like. I've thought about wearing a hat and gloves to the office. Ha! Have a wonderful day.
Great video Angie. I turn 53 on Saturday and, yes, I remember baking in the sun. You are so right about showering and drying the skin. My French Canadian mother is 87 and this has always been her philosophy and she is known for her beautiful l skin.
Angie, I totally agree with you on all points. What is amazing is 2 great minds here. I use the exact same products, for one exception. You use Olay body cream, I use Curel. Sunscreen and everything else is a duplicate for the shower. You are right, when you said, if I start now, maybe I won't be as crepey in the future. Absolutely, it will help and your workout routine, lots of water. KUDOS! Great video. Thank You for filming this. Great info. Big HUGS! xoxo Sharon
Aloha Angie! This is a refreshing look at skin care that encompasses more than the face and neck. While I love those videos, at 68, my skin is definitely NOT what it was even 10 years ago. This just sucks!!! However, I'm not giving up. One thing I've found that has been very helpful to my dry, thin skin is Coconut oil. I use it before I step out of the shower, applying it all over my body. It feels so soft and, yes, even youthful. I'm off to my "home" Hawaii in a couple of weeks and sad that I now have to keep everything covered. :( Life is all about change... Thanks again for all you do and BE!! :)
+Aloha Leslie PS I just took a peek at Paula Choice's website regarding the Retinol Body Moisturizer. There are two. One is called Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol (out of stock until FALL) and the other is Resist Retinol Skin-Smoothing Body Treatment. Hope that helps!
I'm 30, but love watching you MUCH more than the TH-camrs my age. You are so informative and GORGEOUS! I wish my mom were alive, she died of breast cancer in September, she would've loved you! ILY Angie😘
+Amber Leanne I'm so sorry about your mom Amber. I hope you're doing okay, mother/daughter relationships are so special. It would have been wonderful to have your mom watching too. Take care. xo ~angie
Great video. We don't talk about anti-aging for the body often enough. I use the same kind of scrubby cloth in the shower for the same reason you do. I can reach my back! I'm going to give the body wash and lotion a try. Thanks Angie! - Pam
Hi Angie. I also use the Olay Quench on my body but I buy the one called sensitive. I purchase it on Amazon since I can’t seem to find it in the stores. It is fragrance free. It’s a lovely lotion and since it’s fragrance free I’m comfortable spreading this lotion on my chest, neck and even face. I have sensitive skin so I’m grateful Olay makes this lotion.
Hi Angie, I've really enjoyed your tutorials because you seem to do the research required to provide honest information to those of us, like me, that would otherwise be lost in the sea of skin care options. But, an even more important reason that I've enjoyed your online offerings so much is because I found out that you are REALLY REAL. I came across one the other day, (I believe it was a review of foundations, a couple you didn't care for at all) when you actually said the word SHIT and that something REALLY SUCKED! So--it's true that great-looking, smart, well-spoken women don't have to give up one iota of credibility for saying BAD WORDS!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart--I am a fan for life!
LOL! Yep I am really real and do go off the rails & cuss on occasion... but you'll never hear me dropping f-bombs... like to keep it fairly clean in case there are little ears nearby! xo ~angie
I just started using the Jason Naturals Rosewater Body wash enriched with Vit. E and Pro-Vit. B5. Absolutely love it for gentle yet nourishing cleansing. Going to have to get that exfoliating bath towel to use with it! Thanks, again, for another useful and original video, Angie. xo from CT Jill
Hi Angie. Please, please mention if products are fragranced. Most Olay products are too heavily fragranced for me to stand - especially body washes. The Paula's Choice is a good idea - I will be checking that out too - thank you!
Love how informative your videos are! I always feel like I learn something from watching you! Thanks Angie! Wish I could come to one of your meet and greets but I am states away. 😔 Hope everyone else has a great time!
As usual another great video. Thanks Angie. I just don't moisturizer my body enough as well as using sun screen. Thanks for expressing how important it is to do so.
I agree that Paula's choice 4 oz is expensive. I have ROC retinol that I bought 2 at Costco and have been mixing it with the Olay Quench Ultra Moisture lotion. It seems to be working well. if I buy it at Walgreens its about $17 for an ounce. I just add a small dollop to the lotion.
I used to wash my skin with oil (Alaskan style) every other day, and just wash the smelly parts but now, I think I'm gonna follow your recommendation. Thanks Angie, I always love your videos. Have a great day. =)
I am with you...have been using the oil cleansing method for 2 years, only use soap on lady parts and underarm....even my feet get clean with almond oil. skin feels great, don't need extra lotions, and skin texture feels like a baby. recently started my teenage daughter on it and her eczema has almost been eliminated within a month. using soaps takes away the good bacteria and is super drying...even moisturizing soaps. can't wait to see what her skin looks like if she keeps it up for life. Angie, would love to see you do a review on oil cleansing methods.
I'm pretty well screwed when it comes to my skin aging. I've had extremely dry, crepey skin all my life. Genetics, I suppose. I'm very fair so my skin is easily damaged and burned. I didn't learn about proper skin care, aside from cleansing, until my late twenties! I have a shelf full of oils, serums, balms, etc now. In the shower I exfoliate with a sugar/honey scrub or one of those cloths you mentioned, after I use the Nivea in shower lotion before I get out, pat dry, then do almond oil with vit E, then moisturize with an rx ammonium lactate lotion, THEN all over spray style sunscreen. It takes a while! haha! I even get dry on my arms and legs during the day. I have a spritzer bottle of rose water I'll use, then I use the Boots body serum. I also always have drinking water on hand. Aside from Olay, I think Boots is an amazing affordable line.
Angie, nice and very informative video. I met Paula many years ago and was very impressed with her integrity. I have followed her over the years and change out some of her products with others I like. I always have a few of her products in my rotation. Thanks for the tip about the body creme. I am going to purchase.
Love the Olay products, my skin has never felt better & hopefully, looking better. Love the exfoliation towel! Can't wait to see the review on Paulas Choice product. Thanks again for a great video!
I just logged into the dermstore to order the sunscreen you like so much. The Hydropeptide Solar Defense SPF30. That one is tinted but I noticed a new one that is untinted and has an spf50. I knew you said that if it came in 50 you would wear it all the time. It says that it is clear and matte. I am going to try it as it has only Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. Like you my skin is very sensitive.
What great info, Angie! I did not know they sold the nylon cloths in this form, really excited to buy this and look into the Paula's Choice product. Thank you so much! XO
Hi Angie....I see that you use the OLAY body wash. I've recently tried the OLAY Total Effects 7 Advanced Anti-Aging exfoliate and Replenish with VitaNiacin....I really like it and it seems right up your alley. Enjoy!
Thanks for the videos!! At 49' I am noticing my skin losing its moisture & starting to look wrinkly. Have never been a sun worshipper, but I do drive south to work which means the FL sun is coming in my drivers window for just over an hour total each day. Going out to Target with my anti aging body list today!!
Angie, how did you get to be SO knowledgeable about chemicals or ingredients and what they do for your skin? You even talk about molecules being to large to be absorbed into the skin. You sound like a scientist. I LOVE the knowledge you impart. ALSO, I'm surprised you didn't find Amlactin Alpha Hydroxy Therapy in your research. It comes in 20 oz bottles and I buy them at Costco with 2 in a package. Your fan Nicki
Hi Nicki~ My dad's a chemist who's had a long career in the skincare industry so I bounce a lot of my finding from my own research off him for verification etc. LOL… definitely helps to have a chemist in the family!! I'm actually doing a new comparison on body lotions… Paula's Choice Retinol on one side and Alpha Hydrox 12% Glycolic Acid Body Lotion on the other… stay tuned for that video in a couple months!! xo ~angie
Holy Cow! Your skin looks freaking amazing in this video. Still just the same routine? I know I'm a video a while back you said you thought the improvement was mostly due to skin care. That still the case? I haven't watched in a month or two and you look 5 years younger since the video I just mentioned and you looked great in that. Congrats.
Really glad you posted this video, I was just thinking of upping the ante in the body area. Love the hair braid on the side. Would love a tutorial on how to do, please 😄
Angie, I look forward to hearing about your results with the Paula's Choice retinol product for body! I have some crepey looking skin on the upper part of my inner arms! I saw a video of someone that had it on their abs from childbirth. She was able to smooth it out by developing the ab muscles. You could only see the loose skin when she squeezed it together. I am hoping that lifting weights will help the unattractive area on my arms. :)
Great recommendations for everyone as usual. FYI, Paula's Choice is currently offering 15% off everything and Free Shipping over $50. Also, the shower poofs can be found attached to long handles in many drugstores. Angie, have you tried any of the newer rinse off in shower moisturizers? They feel a bit like hair conditiiner but I have not been wowed by them.
+Julie Harvey I'm going to finish the one I have and go back to my old system of grapeseed or coconut oil after the final rinse, then a body lotion. Too many weird chemicals in most commercial products plus I exfoliate in the shower. I rely on a nightly rotation of Amlactin and Cerave with one of the oils on my feet, covered with socks. I might try the Paula's Choice product for a test run.
I recently stopped using hair conditioner in my hair so I've been using what I have on hand as an in shower lotion. I leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing off. It helps my very dry skin to hold in more moisture and is much cheaper than the in shower lotions too! I still use a cocoa & shea butter lotion after I get out of the shower and my skin stays nice and soft all day long!
+Ronniechops Lactic acid lotion is the best! I use LacHydrin and it makes my skin feel like tissue paper.I use it once a week as a facial and my skin just glows.
+Ronniechops The Amlactin is so expensive! You can make your own by purchasing lactic acid from a soap making website and just mix it with a good quality unscented moisturizer. It costs a fraction of the price and you can adjust the quantity to your liking.
I use amlactin too- it's the best for dry crepey thighs especially- rub on slightly moist skin right after showering; results in much smoother softer skin on my 55 yr old body- it's pricey- better to buy at Amazon in larger suzes
always such good advice. I was wondering what you thought about"dry brushing" your skin.(like legs and arms) I have read that it can improve skin texture, and help with freckles/sun spots.
Hey Angie, Just found your channel and I have been watching nonstop to catch up. You are an inspiration. You look amazing! I have adopted your skin care routine...THANK YOU. Now I need a make-up overhaul. Can you guide me to the most current video on make-up?
Hi Angie and Thanks again for all the great info. I cant wait to get out there and buy the Olay for my wash and moisturizer. I actually just found Paulas choice on QVC so i will check out her retinol products for the body too. God Bless you
Thank you for this video. I've been wanting to do more anti-aging for my body and was wondering what was out there. You've given me a great beginning point. I look forward to hearing what you think about the Paula's Choice body stuff.
Angie, Love watching your channel ; you are beautiful! Will definitely check out the exfoliating towel. I'm a Paula's. Choice fan as well! Thank you for bringing us such timely and important info!
Oh, also wanted to ask you if you've ever tried the Australian Gold regular sunscreen for your body since you really like their tinted sunscreen for your face. It comes in a spray container which is very convenient. But always love your recommendations prior to purchasing something
Hi, I just started watching your videos and have subscribe, I watched at least 10 so far and hope to get through the rest! I am trying to see if you have a video that elaborates on sunscreen, Monroe versus chemical? You look great and I thank you for all your tips and information sharing!
Hey Angie! What is your most current Sunscreen you use for your body? What chemical sunscreens would you be concerned with putting on your body also? Thanks Mar
If a lotion’s first ingredient is water, I put it back on the shelf. The moisture is never maintained throughout the day. It’s not just about treatment for me.
Hey Angie! I'm so excited you posted this. I've been looking for a retinol body lotion. The only affordable one I've found so far was from Ulta for $10. Just started using, but I'll let you know how it works. I even thought about putting regular retinol on my legs, but that would get $$$ quickly!
I so appreciate everything you share. I'm over 60 and am trying and loving many of the products you share. Do you have a second favorite body lotion? I'm having difficulty locating the Olay Quench Ultra Moisture Lotion or even the Shea Butter version, except in a body wash or in shower lotion. Thanks much!
I don't really use the Olay any more... they renamed it & reformulated & the new one has way too much fragrance 😔 I love Alpha Renewal 12% Glycolic lotion and Versed Retinol lotion!
Hi! I just turned 42 and am starting to see crepey skin. 😮 I love your channel. I found this video but wondered if you have changed anything since this is quite a few years old. I did see your video on the glycolic acid lotion vs the Paula retinol. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for all the tips and for the tips the readers put into the comments. I'm gonna take all your recommendations. Gonna get a retinol body lotion to try. On another topic, where did you get your top from? It's so cute!
Hi Angie. Thank you for sharing this and making us think more about this aspect of skincare. I know it's something I need to focus on more, especially with summer coming! Have a wonderful day. xoxo Daphne.💖
T hanks Angie --very helpful and informative 😊does the Olay lotion absorb pretty well? I am uncomfortable with body lotions that feel tacky or leave a film.
Serious Skincare has some product they are introducing for this exact crepey skin issue. Wonder if it really works. Thought I'd mention. I think its sold on HSN.
I would love to ask, if you use faux tan for your face? If so, which do you recommend if any, for sun damaged/age spots, older skin. As I am concerned faux tan will undo the good work my Vit A, C and peptides have been doing. Thanks in advance.
I use a argan soap I love it its very creamy but does not lather. Then a couple times a week I use a sugar scrub DIY with argan oil. after I get out of the shower on damp skin I do love Jose maran whipped argan body butter. I use them every night . I only shower every other day and since I use when I just get my hair wet then every 4 days I use when on it and yes it stays clean that long . I also use when treatment mist test has a spf for your hair in it. I love the olay. products to but i just love the feel of argan oil or butter. I use spf on my arms ,face ,neck every day also my Jose maran. if I go out swimming act.. I use the ones for a baby spf 50. I also wear a sun hat most of the time in tube summer .my mom used to day lotion every night no matter what. I agree with this and my 10 year old granddaughter does the same thing. I love this video alto. we get so used to just face and neck we forget the rest
Angie, forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. Can you tell me which hair color(s) you are using? Your hair looks great. I have similar coloring to yours; I've spent years with the blonde and highlights, and my hair is getting pretty damaged. I want to go darker with just a few highlights, but I'm afraid it will be brassy. I'd also like to do it myself (never done that), just because it's SO expensive. Thanks. you look great.
I have one of the exfoliating towels and was so impressed I bought one for each girl in my family and also for my husband. The husband is on his second towel!!
Hi Angie, great video as always! I'm actually on the hunt for a lightweight lotion that soaks in quickly for the fast approaching hot and sticky Florida summer. Do you feel the Olay quench lotion fits that description? If not, do you know of one I could try? Thanks! Your new skin is looking beautiful, hope the changes continue :) Erika
I am going to have to find that cloth! I can never get my back. I also use a dry brush, haven't used it long enough to see a big difference yet. I have noticed that since taking Biotin my skin has been better. Not sure if there is truly a link? But I have very dry skin and so far this winter, other than my face, the rest has been better.
hi I'm new to your channel and love everything! is there a video that you address facial hair? since I've hit 48 I've noticed peach fuzz growing like crazy on my face! any suggestions to get rid of??
I just started noticing crepey skin on my arms recently. I'll be 58 on Thursday. Thanks for the great info. I often feel overwhelmed when trying to pick out products. +Cyndee Cochrane Happy Birthday! You look great!
Happy birthday!! I'm 51, and I too love Angie's skincare routines!

Love how honest and down to earth you are. Also give you a big hand for talking about most products that I can afford to go out and buy.
I'm 18 and im a boy haha and I'm so obsessed with staying young I never skip sunscreen! Amazing tips! Ur gorgeous Angy!!
+josh ratcliffe You're off to a great start! Keep using that sunscreen and you'll definitely look much younger much longer!!

Try a Korea Day Spa. A scrub will literally take off dead skin. It's amazing. They use this cloth with no product. Try it!!

Hi there, how often do you peel in a week?
Went to specialist for skin and he does recommend oil of Olay skin wash so kudos to you.
Your makeup looks great in this video! Would love to see a full face makeup tutorial on everything you have on your face in this video! Thanks Angie!

I love the towel, I use Salux body towel. They leave your skin feeling so smooth. I will have to try the Olay Body Wash.
Olive oil soap is also a great cleanser, and does not dry at all.
Love the Olay products, my skin has never felt better & hopefully, looking better. Love the exfoliation towel! Can't wait to see the review on Paulas Choice product. Thanks again for a great video!

Hi Angie....I see that you use the OLAY body wash. I've recently tried the OLAY Total Effects 7 Advanced Anti-Aging exfoliate and Replenish with VitaNiacin....I really like it and it seems right up your alley. Enjoy!
Great info Angie! I've been reading lately how a lot of chemical sunscreens can damage the coral reefs and other sealife. Still doing research ... ❤️
+MizBee Yes, sadly that's true. Thinksport makes an all mineral spf 50 that's reef safe.
Thanks for the videos!! At 49' I am noticing my skin losing its moisture & starting to look wrinkly.
I'm actually doing a new comparison on body lotions… Paula's Choice Retinol on one side and Alpha Hydrox 12% Glycolic Acid Body Lotion on the other… stay tuned for that video in a couple months!! xo ~angie
i started using sunscreen in my 20s i qm 31 now and it has done wonders!!
Holy Cow! Your skin looks freaking amazing in this video. Still just the same routine? I know I'm a video a while back you said you thought the improvement was mostly due to skin care. That still the case? I haven't watched in a month or two and you look 5 years younger since the video I just mentioned and you looked great in that. Congrats.
Great information as usual! I learn so much from you! Added some items to my shopping list!
I love all your videos about skin care i've learned so much thank you !
tcshy1903 Lifting weights is awesome! Works
Love your videos-they are so informative! I wonder if one could mix hyaluronic acid drops into a moisturizer and apply to the body?
Great recommendations for everyone as usual. FYI, Paula's Choice is currently offering 15% off everything and Free Shipping over $50. Also, the shower poofs can be found attached to long handles in many drugstores. Angie, have you tried any of the newer rinse off in shower moisturizers? They feel a bit like hair conditiiner but I have not been wowed by them.
+Phyllis T I tried the Nivea one and didnt care to much for it. I used to use the olay one and loved it. But I cant seem to find it anymore.
Phyllis T $43 at PC $28 in Amazon
I recently stopped using hair conditioner in my hair so I've been using what I have on hand as an in shower lotion. I leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing off. It helps my very dry skin to hold in more moisture and is much cheaper than the in shower lotions too! I still use a cocoa & shea butter lotion after I get out of the shower and my skin stays nice and soft all day long!
I will definitely be trying some of the items. Thanks for posting this.
have you tried amlactin lotion for the body? i love it! makes my skin feel supersoft! 😊
Legendofbillyjean does LacHydrin smell? I find the amlactin doesn't smell very nice and it's also a bit sticky. but i love the effect!
I use amlactin too- it's the best for dry crepey thighs especially- rub on slightly moist skin right after showering; results in much smoother softer skin on my 55 yr old body- it's pricey- better to buy at Amazon in larger suzes
Angie SAMs makes a retinol lotion in a pump tub!!!! It's really good too! Do you have sans?
I saw that last week! The ingredients seemed good.
always such good advice.
God Bless you
I think the freckles on your arms and neck are beautiful! :)
Thank you for this video. I've been wanting to do more anti-aging for my body and was wondering what was out there. You've given me a great beginning point. I look forward to hearing what you think about the Paula's Choice body stuff.
Great video, thank you for sharing. What are your thoughts on dry oils for the body?
Love your channel! Wonder if you have tried Crepe Erase? And if it works?
Thanks Mar
@HotandFlashy Could you please do an updated version of this video? Would you still recommend the Olay body wash and lotion?
I love your makeup in this video! Eye tutorial???
If a lotion’s first ingredient is water, I put it back on the shelf. The moisture is never maintained throughout the day. It’s not just about treatment for me.
Hey Angie! I'm so excited you posted this. I've been looking for a retinol body lotion. The only affordable one I've found so far was from Ulta for $10. Just started using, but I'll let you know how it works. I even thought about putting regular retinol on my legs, but that would get $$$ quickly!
What is the name of the lotion you found at Ulta?
It's just called Retinol. Here's the link www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5140129
Thank you!
Your eyes are so beautiful . Wonder what treatment or skincare u use to keep your eyes so pretty and bright .
Thank you for all the tips and for the tips the readers put into the comments. I'm gonna take all your recommendations. Gonna get a retinol body lotion to try.
On another topic, where did you get your top from? It's so cute!
Very informative video. Thank you.
Hi Angie. Thank you for sharing this and making us think more about this aspect of skincare. I know it's something I need to focus on more, especially with summer coming! Have a wonderful day. xoxo Daphne.💖
Great video idea. Do you know a good product to fade dark spots for sun damage on the body?
Would love it if you could update this with products which don't have parabens in them.
Angie, please do a video on teeth whitening and care. thanks.
You should do live videos so we can ask questions! I love watching you!!
You look wonderful . I follow you since 2 years and you look know younger than before . I swear :)
Love the hair!!!
T hanks Angie --very helpful and informative 😊does the Olay lotion absorb pretty well? I am uncomfortable with body lotions that feel tacky or leave a film.
+Lily Gudsnuk Me too! Hate tacky anything. It takes a minute to absorb but once it's dry there's no sticky film!!
Can you do an updated version of this
thank you for your tips!
Perfect timing! Thanks so much Angie.
Thanks. you look great.
great vid. I can't use Olay it makes me itch like, crazy. I love euctrine. or however you spell it. the oil wash.
Thanks for this video!
Take care, looking great
Vicki
Great info Angie! I need to pick up one of those exfoliating towels :) xoxo Anne
I have one of the exfoliating towels and was so impressed I bought one for each girl in my family and also for my husband. The husband is on his second towel!!
Omg I need that scrubbing cloth. I was just at target recently too, dang it lol.
Great tips! I also think the fact that you exercise so diligently plays a role in your skincare. I;m so sure you drink lots of water.
+Terry OMalley Yes, I agree!
Hi Angie , I was wondering what you thought of dry brushing? I haven't done it, but I saw a video where someone was doing it.
Thank you for all you videos. Which Paula's Choice product do you plan to use for your body?
+tanyag87yt I put a link to it in the description box. It's the Resist Retinol Body Lotion.
+HotandFlashy thanks for the info, I could not find the link in description box. :)
🙆Thanks Angie~I am going to try it!
hi I'm new to your channel and love everything! is there a video that you address facial hair? since I've hit 48 I've noticed peach fuzz growing like crazy on my face! any suggestions to get rid of??
