Cloudy Malvern...A cross country flight where I 'bombed' at 63km.

- An unlikely looking cross country day, due to 100% cloud cover, from Worcester Beacon, (Malvern Hills). The air was unstable, and there were thermals to be found. My good friend (and legendary XC pilot) Tim P flew with me quite a bit, after he nearly went down twice.... but he had the last laugh....
Excellent flying for 2.5hrs, but I wish it had been longer!!!!
Several did flights over 100miles (160km) to the Cambridge area.
Lovely Video. I would love a 60 km flight. So windy in Ireland this year. Or Nil wind. Cheers Frank in Kilkenny. We fly Mount Leinster in the south East.
I love my Base 2 lite….
As if it's not dangerous enough but must be extra dangerous flying with all those other people in the air?
Seven not Avon, M5 not M6. I'm surprised you can find your way to Malvern to take off.😆
Severn not Seven (just joking 😉)
