This video has almost put me to sleep a few times. The music and painting the nails has been super relaxing. Specially at 1:30 am. I think ill be able to sleep now. Also, theyre all super pretty!
Well…if you didn’t know that’s all it supposed to do …personally just sitting your finger on the magnet is easier than trying to use a wand and not touch the polish. IMO.
I have a horseshoe magnet for velvet effect. It is soooo much easier and quicker and you get a more even effect across the nail than with the small magnet. Seems to hold better as the polish dries too. I have zero regrets in spending a bit more.
You have beautiful magnetic polishes! I will be looking for “ the lucky ones” - I like when magnetic polish makers design them to pull a contrasting color with the base instead of just silver look that can take over with the horseshoe magnet. I bought the 10lb magnet and it works great but I have small finger tips.
This is so cool! You get such a lovely full color shift effect, but it looks like it has more depth than usual shifting polishes. I might have to try this out myself.
@@under_N_over_it I got mine at sav-webshop.com/nl/hoefijzer-magneten/1355-16585-hoefijzermagneet-rood.html#/10077-afmetingen-l_x_b_x_h_45_x_30_x_30_mm_trekkracht_ca_12_kg (It's a Dutch website, so I don't know if they will ship internationally). But you can find a lot of alternatives when you search for 'horseshoe magnet 30 lbs'. 😊
Just found your channel! Been going down a rabbit hole of Magnetic polishes and yours by far are the best, for me! 👋🏼😊 Would love to see more of these magnetic polishes with this magnet! Hoping to find one near me soon!
Really beautiful effect! Although, it is nearly £20 I think I will try to buy one of these horseshoe magnets to use with my magnetic polishes. Thank you for this useful video! 😊x
I’ve tried the big horseshoe twice and both times I got tons of bubbles in the polish. I usually go in with thick coats so I thought that might be contributing, so I tried again with thinner coats but still got bubbles, just not as many. Annoyingly, the bubbles didn’t show up until the manicure was drying, but it looked so bad! I never get bubbles otherwise, but this happened to me with two totally different brands, in different weather/times of year. The only thing in common was the magnet. Did you come across this at all?
Oh wow! No, I've never had that happen. 🙁 That's so sad! And the only thing I would think about as well are doing thinner coats, but since you've already tried that.. 😟
I got the Mooncat and Holo Taco ones on their own websites, the ILNP and Cadillacquers over at www.nailland.hu, and Bluebird was a limited edition for Polish Pickup, so that's not available anymore. 🙂
i find your method to be both beautiful and yet frustratingly slow.. i appreciate the real time swatches, dont get me wrong - i just think theres a lot you could cut out when youre perfecting the application without ruining the experience of showcasing swatches done in real time.
You're totally right. It's just a really convenient way to do it, and the magnet is much stronger so the effect is as well. 😊Personally I've always struggled a bit in getting the velvet effect with regular magnets, but if you don't than you absolutely don't need one of these! 😀
I have dexterity issues and had no idea these magnets existed :) Might not be a big deal for you, and I’m super psyched for you that you don’t have to work too hard for the effect if that’s the case!
Some people don' t have the dexterity to achieve this effect manually with a small magnet. You are failing to keep in mind that not everybody is like you.

The Lucky Ones was my favorite transformation. The contrast was amazing.
Yes! It's so pretty! ☺
These are some of the most pretty nail polish colors I've seen!

Exactly! Couldn't agree more! ☺

Thanks! Yeah, I really love these ones! ☺And I also really like a contrasting color! I think the Bluebird one is my favourite for exactly that reason.
“the lucky ones” was extra gorgeous.

It's really so easy to do and it transforms the polishes into a whole other thing. I'm really glad I got this to experiment with ☺
So beautiful and relaxing to watch! I really want a horseshoe magnet now! 😊
That Cadillacquer shade barely looks real, wow 🤩
Menchie for the win. WOW though they all look super impressive I think I need a horseshoe magnet stat LOL :0) xx
I love my horseshoe magnet - I can't ever get the cat-eye effect to work on my nails. It was the best ~$40 I've ever spent on a polish tool.
What a beautifully made video xx
Aw, thank you! ☺️
Love cat eye gels and you have a lovely collection❣️
Thank you! ☺
The velvet style is my favorite, it looks amazing ✨ Amazon has the horseshoe magnet too.
Menchi with the topper is glorious.
omg how beautiful!
Thank you! 🥰

The lucky ones may be my fall polish and I’m going to see how it look topped with red flakes.

Здравствуйте. А где Вы пркупали такой магнит? Можете дать ссылку? Или название и как сайт называется? Заранее спасибо
Hi there! The link is mentioned in the description ☺
What clear polish are you using?
In this video I used Holo Taco's Glossy Taco as topcoat 🙂 Most of the time I use that one, or I will use Glisten & Glow's Top Coat.
Does it HAVE to be 30lbs?
I think for the pull it definitely doesn't have to be that strong - it's more of an issue of fitting your fingers in between the magnet. 😄
@@messymx thanks so much :0) x
Where can I get this nail polish?

I haven't figured out how to get a great velvet effect yet
You can really manipulate the particles if you try 🤔
👍

I suggest doubling your doped to watch.
Thank goodness for the mute button.
Haha, I love this! Hope you got to put on some music you love to replace it 😄
@@messymx I watched the whole video. That's what counts! Just did not like the music 😬
@@jelatinosa Absolutely! Thank you for watching! 😉
So literally all it does is the Velvet effect? That can be achieved with just about any other magnet....... I'm failing to see the big deal here

No stupid, you have to have the good music and effects
I will defo have to try this magnet! My luck with cateye magnets is nil but I adore the effect this gives!
I don't get it... There's better magnets.. wtf is this
