When I focus on the breath, should I try to be mindful of body at this stage also or just concentrate on the breath sensations? Also for sensations, what do I do in between breaths?
Focusing on the lengths and pauses worked at the beginning but it became quickly boring for my mind that I forget to focus on the details very quickly. I don't necessarly lose the focus on the object of attention, I just forget to focus on the details.
if you have time to be feeling bored then by definition u are off ur object. the antidote is to return to your object more quickly and more decisively without these interruptions, by paying closer attention to the ending of the out breath and the ending of the in breath as well as making sure ur attention is not scattering in between breaths like it is habituated to do. if u do this keenly for an hour a day for 2 weeks then boredom will have no way of arising and ur object will gain a contant freshness from ur successful constant close attention, and u will become well suited to make the final push to stage 4 where u will no longer be able to be pushed off ur object even by sense objects and u will gain a sign of concentration pertaining to ur object of fixation which is what will allow u to settle ur mind in uninterrupted close observation on command
Thank you, brother.
Thanks for the refresher. It is nice to be able to come back to a video like this instead of going to re-read the chapter
Glad it was helpful!

It seemed like the video ended abruptly.

I think just lightly holding the intention of focusing on the detail regardless of quality, is enough.
