checked the battery connection, had corrosion all over. just sanded it down a bit and it got fixed. thank you

So on Tuesday the battery was dying was really hard to start but it did it first try. Had issues opening the hatch , 2013 ford escape. Bought a new battery the old one was 3 years old and I live in AZ so not uncommon. Started it 4 or 5 times then didn't want to start. Then I replaced the 3 50 amp fuses still having issues starting and still getting this code.

is it true battery can be the most common reason ?
i seem to have issues when cold starting , it will start it just throws errors after errors at me, " check fuel filter " edb failur " air bag fault" - and the dash needles flick until it starts. ( never when warm though - no issues when warm )
is a battery my likely cause ? as its 12.6V when the car is cold & only error code is po86A - i tried creating more earths - with no luck... but have yet to get a new battery as i thought 12.6v was good ? and its 14.2 when running.

This code showed up while I was doing a RTD tune. Once I started the car the engine light showed up
