Do you think creating a high converting landing page like this is necessary for only product testing? Just to get the proof of concept of the actual product before taking the time to create this landing page.
Great question. There are two approaches on this. You either test a product that you know is already selling really well in the market and you just go all in and test different marketing angles and creative approaches. In this case I would go all in also on the landing page. If you just want to test multiple products than a simple landing page template will do. If the product is a winner, it should get sales either way. The landing page will just really help with branding, conversion rate, and the boost in average or value, if done correctly.

You start posting organically 2-5 times per day (free marketing). You get your first sales profitably to get the ground running. You reinvest into paid ads. Also I wouldn’t be the first one that claims that starting a business doesn’t have to be expensive. Mark Cuban says the same thing. I’ve started mine with zero dollars in the bank back in the day. So yes it’s possible but you need to put in the work and it’s hard… even harder with zero dollars.
