    I'm thinking that Togo is supposed to be produced "2-go". Power for when you're on-the-go. To go power.

    This was extremely helpful! I've been leaning towards the Rockpals however, after seeing this, I really like the Togo Power. I'm thinking I'll just save my money and get the Togo Power. Thank you very much for your time and detail. 🙌🏾

    I have been doing research on power stations for about 3 months - PTSD from the Snow Apocalypse we had in TEXAS Feb of 2021. This is by FAR the MOST INFORMATIVE comparison video I have seen. It helped me avoid spending $500 and up out of sheer panic for the upcoming Winter season - we still have a shady Power Grid issue here in TEXAS. Thank YOU Thank you Thank you... and THANK YOU one more time!

      I'm sorry to hear that the snow you encountered in Texas brought you inconvenience and huge costs. I think many people in Texas need mobile power to avoid danger! The cost performance of our products is much higher than that of a large number of products in the market. If you also think that mobile power supply is a good development direction, we hope you can act as our brand's distributor agent in your local area. The strength of our company is introduced in my channel ~ looking forward to cooperating with you!

    I have two Snugmaxs 350 now, by accident, but I considerate it a blessing, and I ran one of them the other day playing music for a feeding-the-hungry church ministry. (I had the other on standby in case it ran out of juice) I plugged a speaker system into it, the Bose L1 Compact, running about 100-200 watts. I had another speaker system from a friend, pushing probably almost the same. I had my keyboard, a small 6 watt output, and a mixer which is running 12 watts. When I had all that plugged into the power strip (plugged into the outlet on the Snugmax) It was only drawing 38 watts of power. We ran that thing for three hours straight, maybe a little more, and get this, THE POWER LEVEL ON THE SNUGMAX DIDN'T LOSE ONE BAR! I and everybody who was paying attention with me was stoked! I am glad I have two. At $150.00 each from Walmart, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!

    Honestly, of these 4 the Togo Power Advance 350 would be my choice. I love the wireless charging on top. I'm also a fan of the flat top design. I don't like having a fixed handle. I'm in a YJ and space is extremely limited and the boxier design means it can fit in more places or have some items stacked on it. Great review!

    • @cjbiro9374
      @cjbiro9374 ปีที่แล้ว

      The togo us where I went, but i went to the 650 advance. The fixed handle on the jackery was a negative, but the ability to double charge the jackery off a USB power bank as an additional option was very tempting. In the end though, the togo just had too many other positives going for it

      Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the video and the Togo Power Advance 350. It sounds like you really enjoy the wireless charging feature and the flat top design of the Togo Power Advance 350. If those are important to you, I think you would also appreciate the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It has a massive capacity of up to 5kWh, powerful output, fast recharging, and even a waterproof design. It's definitely worth considering for your outdoor adventures or home backup power needs. Happy camping and stay powered up!

    Thank you so much, I go the To-Go Unit for 199.00 on sale today at Adorama :) Thank you for the comprehensive review. I like the weather covers on the To Go unit most since I do a lot of all-weather video work on location. Keeping dust, dirt, and precipitation out of those connection ports is meaningful. Nice job, I found your channel by doing a search for the To-Go Pioneer 330. You were the top recommendation by TH-cam :) Side-note, one thing you didn't mention is if they have fans that run? Noise is a factor with video gear, I'm taking a guess that they are pretty quiet, or I just have to drape the unit for sound dampening.

    I got the 300 watt jackery version. Perfect little power station for all my charging needs. The 500 watt seems kind of lacking in features for it's asking price tag so I settle with the sweet 300 watt for a great price. I have use it with all my road trip and let me tell you, I love it. It's more than enough for all my needs. Small portable and compact at the same time, packs a punch when I needed. The two outlet along with the PD USB C and 2 extra USB port charging is what sold me on the 300 jackery explorer. It's well worth every penny and not overly expensive. As for all those other that you have here on review just didn't exceed my expectation. They're either too bulky or just seems sketchy in terms of quality and ergonomic. As for the wattfun I feel the handle is kind of flimsy and can break off and the ergonomic is just not there for me versus the jackery. To me the jackery 300 just seems to be the better version in terms of portability and compact size with ergonomic without the added weight and bulkiness.

    Ya I run my cfx 28 on a jackery 240 and it has no problem surviving all night til im running my Jeep the next day. Space is a priority for me , so I needed a small bank. It does suck that the 300 didn't exist when I bought the 240 cuz I would have bought it ( and might down the road ) but the 240 usually has about 40 percent by morning which is all I need out of it. All it does is my fridge and nothing else

    The ToGo power 240 is only $150 at the time I checked Amazon. Same features, lowest price with just less capacity makes it a no-brainer. It has pass-thru, so you can charge it off the vehicle while your loads stay on.

    I have the RockPals 300 and love it. With my cpap on for 8.5 hours, it only dropped to 80%. Used it every night during my Moab trip and with a DC powered electric blanket for a couple nights without issue. Charged it from my cigarette lighter while wheeling. Keep in mind, the RockPals is by far the more economical option when compared to the others. If I was planning on running a fridge and multiple other accessories, I'd probably look at the 500 range models or higher. Would recommend to others depending on their needs.

    • @bobbear4437
      @bobbear4437 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      since the lifepo4 wattfun charges several thousand times more then the others, your rockpals isn't the cheapest if you look at the big picture, I do agree that these 300's are only for simple camping, gotta go with 600 to 1000 for any practical use!

    Great comparison. Very informative. Other information that would be useful is mentioning if any have outdoor weather proofing or rating. The Togo appears to have covers over all the ports (very helful if the unit tips over in the dirt). Curious if any are rated for moisture or have temperature range ratings (common scenarios include staying in a car with the windows rolled up or an unexpected overnight freeze)?

    The Jackery 300 is a step up of the 240, which I got recently and I love it. Having 2ac outlets is a plus and having a 12v socket is a must in any portable generator. Also, having all the connections in the front makes it more manegeable and the size is just right. Interesting comparison, thanks for the review.

    You should try the tawak power station. It was on amazon for 100 USD recently and its rated at 300w continous 450 burst and has a capacity of 250wh. I love mine. Tons of features, lots of ways to charge it too. Its also very small and has a very very good value imo. I'd pit it up against any of those, and I'm sure it costs far less than those models did. Also its very very quiet even when charging gaming laptops that draw 200+ watts.

    Something that I was able do with my Alpicool 45 and Paxess 300W is to set the Eco mode to low voltage (9.0v). This helped me run the fridge for ~35 hours in 72 degrees. It will still shutoff at 25% but worked very well for the Paxcess not having a regulated 12v. This is a setting that can assist if someone already has a smaller power station and gets fridge but doesn’t have the means to immediately get the larger power station. If you want to take a look at the Paccess 300w to ass to the list of ever growing power stations I will be at Big Iron this weekend, its not bad for ~$230.

    The Rockpals also charges via wall and USB-C simultaneously. And, I've gotten over 50W input from the Rockpals 100W solar panel. So - its not capped at 45W as you stated.

    I'm thinking of getting one of these for a vacation cabin where I don't spend all my time at. Would it be dangerous to leave these connected to a solar panel indefinitely? I am worried about overcharging and damaging these or potentially causing a fire if I'm not there to unplug it.

  • @mavirek

    Excellent review. Do you think the WattFun 300 could...
    ...be the primary power source 24/7 (minus recharging it) for a car dash cam? Or is 24/7 going to degrade or hurt somehow the unit? Or is the hot Southern climate going to explode the battery?
    ...be a power-interruption stop-gap (I think denoted UPS?) if plugged in 24/7 between an indoor electrical outlet and a computer so that in case of a power failure the WattFun would jump in during the outage to keep the computer powered on? Or regardless of whether it would work, keeping the WattFun plugged in to an electrical outlet 24/7 would degrade or hurt somehow the battery?

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keeping it plugged in all the time shouldn't hurt it at all and it can definitely run a dash cam. The LiFePO batteries are supposed to be much safer than the LIon ones.

    I see I'm with the majority on this; the Togo by far, although I have to admit the Wattfun comes in a close second because of the lifePo4 battery life. I still might switch to that before I make a final decision. I have an earlier Rockpals model in the same class, it has many of the same features as the Togo, but they discontinued it for some reason and it may have to do with the quirkyness of the pass-through feature on occasion (when it acts up I have to leave it unplugged totally for several days, and then when I come back it has to charge from 0%), which is why I'm considering a new one -- in addition to my Ecoflow Delta that I use for a chest freezer. The BougeRV fridge needs a regulated 12 volt, so thanks for emphasizing that feature. Great presentation.

      I’m new to a lot of this and don’t understand a lot of the hours and power. I would like to watch movies outdoors with the family. Basically a small projector may be a DVD player and a speaker plugged in. What’s your opinion on size and what I would need to accomplish this? Thank you for any answers you might have

    • @dondep
      @dondep ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stevejewett3610 It depends on how long you want to run a device, or collection of devices. How long before you can get back to the grid or a bigger battery.

    I just bought the Inorising Portable Power Station 300W, 82500mAH. Mainly because it was so cheap - about $150. I'm in Texas and I just wanted to be prepared for another snowstorm. I wanted to be able to use a rice cooker and an electric tea kettle for tea and also for melting snow when they turn off the water in my apartment. The rice cooker I have says 300W but it shutdown the power station. But, it's 6 cup rice cooker and Walmart is selling a 3 cup version that runs at 200W. I'm going to test that out otherwise I might just switch to the WattFun. It sounds like what I need.

    Have an important question for you and just subscribed. I an putting a Newpowa 160w solar panel on the roof of my 2017 Jeep JKU and have the 300w Wattsfun in the rear. Here are the specs for the panel:
    Specifications
    • Dimension: 48.98*26.57*1.38 inches
    • Weight: 23lbs
    • Max Power Output(W): 160W
    • Voltage MPP Vmp(V): 16.77V
    • Current MPP Imp(A): 9.30A
    • Voltage Open Circuit Voc(V): 19.84V
    • Short Circuit Current Isc(A): 9.75A
    Can I use this setup to plug into the Wattsfun to solar charge it?

    Thank you for the great video. I know nothing about power stations but will be working from Central America for two months and need a solution for power outages. I'm looking for a power station that is always plugged into the wall and my laptop, two monitors and modem would plug to the power station. If we lose power I need to run that set up for up to 8 hours. It would also be nice to get one that can be charged by my car so at night I can recharge it for next day. What would you recommend for my situation?
