I have never in my life heard cellos played like this. I used to play in several orchestras and on one occasion our local orchestra played for the queen to celebrate her jubillee in 1977, caird hall dundee. I played violin. These guys are phenomonal. It takes a special talent to achieve what they have accomplished, and a sense of adventure. They have proved that sometimes its good to break out of the mold, rock the boat and see what you can aspire to. Im blown away by this. Its exciting, emotional, another extension or dimension to a wonderful gift from God, that has no discrimination, no barriers. Here we are all one. Thank you so much.

I introduced my dad to these guys just before he died and he was blown away im glad i did. The only thing is i cry so hard every time i listen, its so beautiful and i miss my dad so much.

no matter how old i get i will always come back to this, this is not just two people playing cello its like these two taking all of us on an emotional roller coaster ride which cannot be explained in words...
They put so much passion into playing that the chords resonate in my heart, and I can't help but cry or laugh as the music dictates. The years they were together are an extraordinary gift to people who love music, be it classical or modern.
And THAT'S why they are so AWESOME and LOVED and filthy RICH! 😊

I have never heard such fantastic music in all of my life . And I’m 64 and have been too a lot of concerts. I absolutely love them . The drum is out stand he has to rank up there with the best! They have taken my favorite rock songs & made them way better! And who knew that Cellos could play like that ! OMBG!!!!!!

I was brought to tears, cheered, jumped up and down, and I wasn't even there! It was one of the most amazing concert I have ever seen, I could only imagine what it would feel like to be there!
I came here to hear relaxing cellos music to write to, and now I'm sitting here headbanging like I'm at a rock concert. Insane! Never imagined you could have that much fun with a cello.

This is the second time I have watched and listened to this 2CELLOS video. It is as though seeing over and over a masterpiece and always finding something new to see. In this case something new to hear and see and the scenics are terrific. Stjepan Hauser and Luka Kulik play so brilliantly their magical cellos, and the music takes us into a new world combination of Rock and Roll and Romance. Kudos to these Master Cellists and Drummer!
Wow, what an amazing melody delivered by two awesome Maestros. It's heavenly music to me, it encourages self-reflection, compassion, and it gives me hope. Beautiful Maestros, may the Universe keep you shinning for the longest time for you are a gift to us in this volatile forever changing world. I have the deepest appreciation for both of you two awesome Maestros. One heart for Maestro Luka💗 and one for Maestro Hauser💗🎼🎶🎶

These guys are real gods. I played cello for 9 years, and I never really liked it in fact. But when my sister made me discover these two guys, I saw another side of cello. The bright side of the cello. Now, I love cello, and it's totally thanks to them.

Someone should have showed you Apocalyptica long time ago. 2cellos are pushing the show to a different level but I think just hearing about Apocalyptica would have made Cello interesting instrument. In fact you can use pretty much any instrument in Metal and Rock if you just want and have skilled player.

Take popular music that everyone knows, pair it with instruments that were never meant to be played like this, and destroy both in pure genius. THIS is what art is about. LOVE their creativity and blowing away the concept of traditional. And to make the arrangements sound so well-rounded and full with only two instruments... insane, in the best way possible.

Cello & you think classical. These guys rock & I'm 68. I can imagine young kids seeing a whole new side to classical instruments & developing an interest where there might never have been. A wide range of ages in the audience & they all seemed to rockin with it & enjoying themselves. Fantastic!

I’ve long loved Violin in rock music. It adds a layer to the music that can’t be achieved with traditional rock instruments. I’d never considered the Cello a rock instrument but there you go, it’s amazing

And this quality that they’re showing is due to presenting not just what they do, but why they’re doing it. It’s like listening to Jimi Hendrix’s live performances. They truly love playing cello like this and it makes it better for them and for the audience. The energy creates a feedback loop because the more psyched the audience, the better they play and the more confidence they have.
I just happened upon Hauser a few days ago. Amazing. Then discovered the 2 Cellos. I can’t get enough. If they ever come anywhere near Austin Texas, I want to be in the front row!!
I hope they eventually are here in Washington again. I missed their last tour by 2 weeks. My kids love their music too

When 1st heard them I was in hospital and I was blown away by them so much I decided next time they go on tour I would see them.
I flew to London to see them and was just sensational.

My granddaughter is 2, when she stays over on the weekends we pick a different concert to listen to each time or pick up where she fell asleep on them each week. I am mind blown by the passion for music she’s had always already, when she says “thank you MawMaw” at frequent intervals as the music moves her…well that says it all! Linda, I'm so glad you said it! For me, this has been their best concert. And by the way, the last two songs are folk songs from Croatia, not classics, but 2Cellos took them to the new level (they did such a good job that it's hard to figure it out unless you heard the original folk songs before). By the way, I am from Zagreb, but haven't lived there for 25 years (of course, missed the concert). Can you imagine how I feel when I see that concert on youtube? The imposing music against that elegant background (the building - it's a train station), the park, people singing along ...
@@danpecur2840 If you are talking about the 2cellos concert in Zagreb on Tomislav Square, then the building behind them is not a railway station but an art pavilion.
LOOK at the audience! All different ages! That shows me that these artists, who play most genres of music ( no hip hop, jazz or rap) touch all hearts across the spectrum of humanity. I can't imagine anybody anywhere who wouldn't feel a positive reaction to them 😮😮😮

I've been turning others on to 2 Cellos every since I found them, only couple years ago! They are so darn crazy good just gotta share them. Can't think when I got so excited with 'new to me' music. In part, being a centuries old instrument .. respected by many fans of orchestra madrigles (sp) chamber music ... these 2 men were trained classically, are so passionate, obviously many years spending hours rehearsing, practicing - but have taken the instrument to another level and a new generation. The bass sounds, the rock n roll tunes .. they play lead . Rhyme. Sounds like a full band. Tune in and listen if you haven't yet. They shred!!! You'll be sharing them with friends too.

We were there. Brilliant, brilliant concert
I'm listening again tonight to this concert in Italy in its entirety, I'm struck by the other world quality of it. It's so ethereal with the blue light and almost has a space ship quality because of the lighting at times. Visually, I love it because of the simplicity and beauty of the lights. It's very moving... especially "With or Without You"... like whale song. I'm immersed in it. I'm in the blue light... under water and floating listening to something ancient and beautiful... a heart crying. "Human Nature" is so heart warming and playful and such a tease with the audience... so endearing to watch Stjepan's expressions... and Luka's, too. The playing is impeccable, like two bodies with one soul directing... impossible but true! And the sound is sooo BIG! It's impossible to believe that that much sound with that fullness, clarity, and intricacy could come from just 2 cellos... or 2 cellos and some drums. Don't remember the drummer's name but he is AWESOME! These guys have truly melded the classical and pop/rock genre with orchestral film scores. The mark of genius in any field is to master it... and then change it. Well done! You are truly PIONEERS, and TRULY INNOVATIVE. We have witnessed the birth of a new genre, the melding of classical, pop/rock, and orchestral film scores all played on a new instrument, the electric cello! I don't know about you, but I had never heard an electric cello before this... Wow! The hard rock songs I like so much more than the originals... I just love them so much BETTER this way! LOVE the selfie with the entire crowd! Awesome idea!!!!!! I cried during "Fields of Gold" and "Air on Strings". SO reverent and beautiful... What a roller coaster of emotions this concert takes us on... Heaven to Hell and back to Heaven... kind of like our time on Earth, huh? Lol... Well played, maestros!!!!!!!! Bravissimo!!!!!!!!
