That's cool being able to hang out with JT and those two kits are awesome looking, well you already know about one of them. The racing Toyota should be a challenge to build, knowing how you like to detail up your builds. It's hard to beat seeing the real item, the brakes in this case, to see if you've been doing them correctly. Nice update!
I just wish I'd had the thought to take a ton of photos for references. But I was caught up in the moment and having a blast. The Toyota will be a challenge, going to have to really work on my decals. So far I've gotten to meet JTY, Ed from ELH, and Mike from Mike's miniature motors. I'd love to meet more folks.
@@JHartModelworks Well, you're ahead of me, I've only been able to meet up with Adam from SoDak Model Cars. Of course, I do live out in the middle of the Midwest and there are not many builders, TH-cam modelers here.
Those parts you brought 😅I was more happier with than you can imagine, that will put my detail work to the next level. I definitely enjoyed the company, I really hate we didn't get to do a video and fire up the grill .mabe next time. I hope you enjoy those kits I knew you were the perfect person for them . That dash looks really good 👍🏿
Great updates Justin! The Houston trip sounds like it was really cool. JT is a great guy. He hooked you up with some great kits. The 3D parts you gave him were outstanding! The Ferrari Daytona is awesome 🔥💯🙌🏾
Awesome update Justin. That’s super cool you got to go visit with JT and spend some time with him. Couple of really sweet kits he gave you too. Love that you got to check out the Ferraris in person also. Your dash is looking great. Can’t wait to see the small scale build! Have a great week
Thanks for the interesting update. May I ask what photo etch primer you received? And when you get around to it, I'd love to see you use it in a build. It's an area I don't know how to do very well. Thanks!
I picked up some Mr. Metal Primer-r. I got to use it when I got back on the interior photo etch so it should be coming up in a couple of weeks once I can get enough building done and edit together the next video on the SP2. I got the jar so I had to thin it with Mr. Leveling thinner to spray through the air brush. It's not bad, paint adheres a bit better than sanding alone but it can still be damaged.
