I just ordered a pair of Pro 6's to replace my old 1st gen KRK Rokit 5's. One of them died a few days ago. They should get here in two days, I'm excited!
the 4s have fantastic mid range such as vocals and the imaging is great but the 6s have an astounding ability to go cleanly down to 35 hz and are not much bigger - I highly recommend you get the 6 if you can
I have the Erus Sub8. Do you think that sub is a good pairing for these speakers and would the 4 be a better choice than the 6 since the sub is taking all the low end?
I would get the 6 inch version for sure ,,,,, it will integrate with the sub much better as the 4 has a severe cutoff on the bass and there could be a gap between the 2 ,,,, also the 6 has amazing bass down to 35 hz and does not even need a sub .... the advantage is totally coherent sound out of 2 point sources .... its extremely worth the extra money
@@MikeBabsBC for what it's worth, I got the 4s and the Pro 10 sub and couldn't be happier! Blown away by the quality of these speakers. I'm sure the 6s are better but no complaints here. The 10" sub is a bit overkill for my small office, probably should've got the 8, oh well 😄
Excellent review. I hadn’t been aware of these coming to market, but having some KEF Q150 for playback the combined drive unit really appeals. Re the asjustment pots are they notched or freely rotating? Thanks
Yes - I have the Eris Pro 6’s’ in my 7.1.4 setup. They have extremely low noise floor. I now have the 4’s mounted as my height speakers - and it’s not an issue. Cheers, M

I have had both the Eris 4 and 6 pros ,,,,,,, recommend spending more and getting the 6
I need something fairly small for my desk, the 4 looks pretty appealing. I think the 6s will be a bit large. How did you find the 4s?
