More of a design flaw on the back. Tried to fix it and a bad snow ball affect happend. It looks ok on camera but it wont be going on the Hondhini it deserves perfection.
Wet lay ups require a perforated plastic between the peel ply and breather so it can bleed the excess resin off in to the breather layer but not soak it and pull it all out of your lay up. There is two types of the perforated though one with just a few holes and one with loads often called bread wrap.
well done mate I've been at it for a few years never got over 1500hrs for the year, have been getting less views per episode lately so kind of just stopped to be honest as you know it's an f around to film shit and edit (especially if you're a spastic old man like me). need to get some stickers with your face with eagle eyes. 🤣 total catch phrase. what's the strength of the spread toe to normal? is it less cause it's not as woven? looks bloody sick, Killa wall piece dam. bloody love it you're doing a sick job.
@@animal_engineering thanks mate. it isnt easy thats for sure, somtimes i think am i wasting my time. But then i think well i do have a few people that really do enjoy my stuff so il keep going. Somtimes a break is good aswell. I am nearly due for one 🤣 as long as you are doing what you love. The spred tow is more for looks. And boy does it look good 🤣 i havnt dove into the structural properties but i believe it is weaker than twill. Thanks mate!

I’m enjoying your progress from the uk 🇬🇧
I am planning to do 5 layers of carbon for my bodywork. I think it must have been the resin you used that made it weak 🤔
