Question: Is there a universal side dish? A side dish that has to be at every function. Also goes well with hot AND cold foods. For example, potato salad? I see potato salad year round, at the cookouts, thanksgiving/Christmas dinners. And I can eat it with greens and fried chicken. I can also eat it with a salad. Could even argue that you will leave it sitting out a little too long and would still eat it. What do you think? What is THE side?

DC’s question got me thinking I know some dysfunctional people…my mom shot her husband, messed him up pretty bad. Turned around and was visiting him in the hospital. They got back together and got pregnant with my sister. Then he snitched on somebody went into witness protection and didn’t include his wife, new baby and stepdaughter (me). ***QUESTION QUESTION QUESTION*** What would run through your mind when hearing that the woman you've been crushing on has a child with special needs?
@Sore Losers Get over it What is so weird about this question? I'm wondering if people really understand the patience and time and strength needed to properly care for this child. And the support the mom will need and that the guy will need if he takes on this role. Taking care of child with special needs is a huge responsibility and you need to be down for the fight. These poor educational systems and these crazy medical bills can have someone go crazy. I obviously expect the man to be kind to the child, but I'm wondering how prepared the man is tackle everything else for the child. If he's ready, great, but he needs to show the mom that he understands what he's in for and willing to step up.
