I got the first shot of the vaccine as a 31 year old professional athlete. The push in the states for people to get vaccinated is a mixture of health and economy when you think about it. A lot of countries are not allowing Americans in without a plethora of prerequisites. Airlines are failing, retail, and pretty much all things need us moving around so they can profit. On the health side is the whole herd immunity idea that if enough of us are vaccinated we can overcome this slowly but surely.
In the end though, MONEY
This is my observation as well. The bottom line is money. The close second is power. Power to tell the masses when to stay home or go outside. It’s scary but I’m doing my thing. Hope you are too! Stay safe!
