    What's going on with the train at 21:05 ? Sounds like an abnormally loud whining sound from one of the DPUs ? Traction motor?

      They are on a descending grade, and sound like they are in full Dynamic.

      I was wondering the same. He was climbing a hill and we heard for a good 5 minutes before he got to us as well as 5ish minutes after he passed. Very loud for climbing a hill

      Most people call it the EMD howl. You don’t hear often at all and it only makes that noise when it’s pulling pretty hard
