County official talks plans to prevent storm surge on Padre Island

REALLY!? Try to tame a storm surge with loose sand? I believe Japan built a huge concrete wall to keep tsunamis out. Even that didn’t work and you’re gonna use loose sand? 😂😂😂🤣🤦‍♂️
