It’s actuallz not considered a high note anymore, it’s already in the whistle register hence considered a whistle note. Whistle notes are the hardest and most challenging notes that exist. Many singers can never reach this level of notes no matter how hard they practice. It’s really outstanding to hear such clear and not pressed whistle notes, he definitely has been blessed with an amazing voice and talent.
Always remember, he sings it while sitting. 😍

The fact that I am a retired Navy Combat Veteran who has served 34 years in the Navy and has always been away from home during the Christmas Holidays. This particular song has always been my favorite song. Now I am in Puerto Rico. I have experienced Hurricane Maria, several earthquakes and now I along with the entire population of Puerto Rico are under Curfew. For some strange reason this particular Christmas song came into my mind as I was starting to become depressed.
I know the posting of this video is an old video. But thank you for emotionally uplifting me with your Angelic voice.

Singers all around the world are evoluting. Morissette Amon, Georgia Brown, Dimash Kudaibergen, Roel Manlangit, Ariana Grande, Piet Arion, TNT boys, are some examples of this. Their voices have a much wider register range, their runs are faster and more precise, most of them are multilingual and they can play many musical instruments, they dominate lows, high mixed voices, and whistle notes. I believe more singers with these characteristics will start to appear in many parts of the globe.

The more I hear this cover the more I realize how he slays it. Point blank. Pure Alto more like a Mezzo- Soprano and his utilization of whistle notes is pretty much unparalleled by far for a man and save for Mariah, I've yet to hear ANYBODY work whistle notes with such precise mastery. UNTOUCHABLE!

It’s not a cover. It’s just Ms Carey’s version of the song. Very important distinction because the word cover implies that Ms Carey either wrote the song or was the original performer. She is neither.

I wish that climax lasted longer because it sounded so good, but at the same time, I like that you didn't exaggerate the climax and make it cheesy because I hate when people do that.
