What an interesting piece of internet history, I have never heard of this but it is very interesting how long the map service has gone on for, despite the rocketing new apps and tech. It may have been part of a small niche, but it clearly served the fandom well and should be remembered for that.

I don't think it ever really showed your EXACT location from memory it mostly showed you somewhere near the center of any given city you put yourself in
