I think you should check their "The edge of the world". Unfortunately there's no studio video version. But you can find easily here on TH-cam. It really differ from their usual style. More prog's vibes on it and I love it 🤘🏻

Seen them live in Portsmouth, they were awesome. Ears were on fire when I left the concert. Soldiers of the wasteland is an excellent song by them, great melody, great riffs and a 2 minute guitar solo. Check it out.

I don't know if you wanna do this but I would love a side by side difference between the original and newer singer ( singer in this vid is Marc Hudson the newer singer , this was actually a song that was sung by the original singer of Dragonforce, ZP Theart . ) They're both so awesome . ZP Theart has a really unique voice . He was also the one that sang through the fire and flames . He did all the og songs including Valley of the damned . And I would love to see your reaction of the 2015 concert ( which was the one in Japan same concert as this Fury of the Storm event) and the one ZP Theart was in in 2004 . You should see how much they changed. Lot of history happened here lol . Sam Totman ( the second guitarist in the band and other founding member of Dragonforce along with Herman Li. He's the guy with the beanie hat) he's freaking hilarious 🤣. He trolls Herman all the time on his Twitch channel . He likes to party too .

So, since you've mentioned a few things, let a dragonforce and guitar nerd clear them up 1. over the top playing. you play guitar the same; pressing down the strings on the frets. Playing over the top is normally just a show-off thing (Some flip back and forth constantly. Check out a live performance of Becoming the Dragon by Trivium and look at Matt and Corey during the bridge section) but does have the advantage of allowing longer stretches (Take the intro of Through the Fire and the Flames; Herman's part features a stretch from the 13th fret to the 20th. I can barely make that stretch playing the normal way, but it's a lot easier over the top) 2. Fastest metal band ever? You've not even seen their fastest song; check out The Game which has a BPM of around 260, while their second fastest song is Fallen World, clocking in at 245. Fury and Fire are both 200BPM in comparison. 3. Yeah, that's a fairly standard Dragonforce solo section. Get used to them, they're all just as crazy, although some feature calmer solos as well (Heartbreak Armageddon comes to mind) 4. Yep, whammy bar tricks are fun (the thing where Herman throws his guitar in the air, he's holding it by an arm attached to a part of the guitar called the bridge that can pivot back and forth to tighten or slacken the strings, changing the pitch. When he throws it in the air, the weight of the guitar pulls the body down causing the bar to pull the strings sharp, about a 5th higher according to Herman). Boy I caused some heart attacks for my mom in my teenage years copying that trick ("THAT'S A £300 GUITAR!" Herman's custom Egen-18s he uses retailed for £2500, btw)

Sorry have to disagree Dragon Force has been around since 1999 these guys are heavy metal experts the band your talking about came into existence in 2016 they sound very good but DF are are faster Lovebits does sound lyrically better so I may have to listen to more of their songs.
