Interesting I’ve just bought a 3 iron as my next club down from 5 iron as found the gapping too close to 4 iron as only 3 degrees between each club.

I've just taken my 20 degree hybrid out of my bag & replaced it with a 5 wood. I'm getting much better results. #4.5

Surely swap out the Apex 3 hybrid for a Rogue x hybrid with lots more help from the bigger head , maybe 20 degrees , far easier to hit off the deck then a 5 wood .

All golfers are unique. I've seen a lot of fairway woods replacing long irons and even hybrids. Personally, I much prefer long irons, and the more forgiving the better. I am amazed at those golfers who can hit a long shot into a smallish green with a fairway wood.

I think I might need a fitting. Looking at my toptracer data I'm getting my 3 hybrid nearly as far as driver so definitely need to look at a long wood instead
