Am having trouble with my 686 plus trigger reset....have reliable ignition at 6 lbs. But not reliable reset..to get reset have to run heavier rebound spring to get positive trigger reset...what am i missing....do i need to polish rebound slide more or do i need to do more work on something else, cant figure it out....single action is just fine
is there a drop in kit anyone makes? AR15 have about 900 different aftermarket triggers on the market, some of which are amazingly awesome... doesnt anyone make them for these smith revolvers? i googled and didnt find much on it...
Flitz won't help get all the grinding marks out and would work best at the end of the polishing process. I often use it when doing a matchless barrel to give it that mirror finish.

When you polish some of the parts would it be good to use that old type of knife sharpener, like the type where you run the blade against?
Hey VDC, if you didn't have a polish wheel kit, couldn't you use like Flitz Polish to smooth out all of the components?

So Brownell is a good place to get a polishing wheel kit?
