Pine Thinning with Kobelco carrier and SP 461 LF harvester head

The video shows a zero tail swing Kobelco carrier with an SP harvester head conducting row and selective thinning in a pine stand. Thinning is an operation that artificially reduces the number of stems growing in a stand to encourage stem diameter increment, remove trees of poor form and stand hygiene (removing dead, diseased and dying trees).
