[TG97] Schindler Elevators - Autograph Tower, Jakarta, ID

Some elevators at the Autograph Tower, currently the TALLEST building in Indonesia. This video features the mid, high, PH zone and the service elevators. The service elevatorsare perhaps the elevators with the MOST number of serving floors in the country, with a grand total of 80 floors from the basements to the 99th floor.
All the main and service elevators are Schindler 7000. While most of the elevators here run at 6 m/sec (still slightly slower IMO for this height), the service ones are slightly slower; approximately 4 or 5 m/sec. The PH zone elevators aren't PORT since they only serve fewer floors. The service and PH zone elevators use M-Series push buttons which are considered very rare nowadays for new installs.
Filmed on the opening invitation day (9 September 2023). Please note that I don't know much about the elevators there so I can't say much about them.

Schindler M-Line buttons feels timeless IMO, and it's very nice that Schindler is still making them for more than 40 years since they were first launched in 1978.

HATE it when building developers intentionally skip floors with '4' in it all because of irrational 'tradition'
As well as that, they get to cheat by not only skipping 10 whole numbers, they also get to claim a higher number as their top floor when in reality its nearly 20 whole floors lower

The reason some buildings skip floor numbers with “4” in it is because in some regions “4” is similar to the word “death.” They also often skip floor “13” because of it being considered an unlucky number.

Schindler still makes their classic M-Series buttons but I think they are now mostly used for the Schindler 7000 elevators as option.

Thought Schindler no longer uses D-Line and M-Series fixtures in the 2020s and switched to using other fixtures like Everbright.
