I'm a Melo and OKC fan, but 2k18 people had a fit that they gave him a certain overall. Just saying he played lower than his 2k18 overall.

Art Artwell what good is Melo if he can’t score a point during any 4th qtr of playoff series? Better yet. What good is he if he refuses to adapt to a team play style and tries to force his team to play around his individual style? Westbrook would pass you the ball more if he thinks you can make the shot. PG13 made buckets and he had good ball time. Melo got passed the ball and bricked the ball as much as me in a pick up game at LA Fitness. He could at least create more openings for the team.

2 assist in 6 games 😂 vs the Jazz during the playoffs. His over all stats was garbage in the playoffs. He wasn’t mentally checked in and you can tell he was feeling frustrated easily by his play and not being able to play how he wants. Even the way he talks in this interview shows he didn’t like the way he was expected to play. I would trade him tbh. It’s not like Melo was the heart reason of making it to the finals. OKC made it last year without him.

Nathan James he already sacrificed by going to okc. Okc wasn’t on his original list. It was rockets then cavs that was his prefer choice.

What billy donovan realized in the playoff was Melo is a waste of space on the court. The realization came extremely too late as Russ and PG wasn't able to form a solid cohesive team play as with Russ and Adams. But you could see a surge of potential whenever they bench Melo and let Russ and PG do their thing. When Melo was there, this waste of space stops the ball movement to make sure he gets to chuck one more time. He has mistaken the ball coming to him as it's time to chuck it, has no clue whatsoever that shooting the ball is not bad only if he's wide open, he is supposed to pass the ball not shoot when opponent is on his face.
Very bad year.
Melo pride wont let him see and understand his better days are behind him, accept the 2nd unit role, ball with them guys, and ultimately help the team.
