Dude, you are my freaking hero. I was practically ripping my hair out trying to figure out a problem like this, and then you just swoop in and show how easy it is. You, my friend, are awesome.
good video but there is an easier way of using this law! Density of the unit cell, d= (𝑛 𝑥 𝑀)/(𝑁 𝑥 𝑙^3 ) (Where ‘n’ = number of atoms in the unit cell which is 4 in your problem, ‘M’ = Molar mass, ‘N’ = Avogadro’s number (6.02 x 1023) and ‘l’ = edge length of the cube) plug the numbers and solve for 'L' 𝑛= 4 , 𝑀=24.3, 𝑁= 6.023*10^23, d= (𝑛 𝑥 𝑀)/(𝑁 𝑥 𝑙^3 )-----> 1.738=(4 𝑥 24.3)/(6.02*10^23 𝑥 𝑙^3 ) solve for 𝑙^3 by taking cubic root
Yes, that is true as well, and it’s the same method all put into one step. I decided to break it down like this because I think it makes it easier to understand, but maybe I’ll make a video with your method as well as a shortcut
This video was useless coz we dont have a calculator in the exam. There's a direct formula for the calculation of edge length which is easier than this. Calculation is the tricky part which you obviously didn't do

almost 9 years later and you’re still helping people! my chem final is tomorrow, thanks!
ten years ago and now you are saving me from a headache in 2023... Thank you
I gotta freshen this up maybe
Thanks for being such a great teacher ! Your explanations are very clear and your step by step method makes it easy for students to follow up.
may god bless you! my professor decided not to teach the concept but its part of the online hw!!
good video but there is an easier way of using this law!
Density of the unit cell, d= (𝑛 𝑥 𝑀)/(𝑁 𝑥 𝑙^3 )
(Where ‘n’ = number of atoms in the unit cell which is 4 in your problem, ‘M’ = Molar mass,
‘N’ = Avogadro’s number (6.02 x 1023) and ‘l’ = edge length of the cube)
plug the numbers and solve for 'L'
𝑛= 4 , 𝑀=24.3, 𝑁= 6.023*10^23,
d= (𝑛 𝑥 𝑀)/(𝑁 𝑥 𝑙^3 )-----> 1.738=(4 𝑥 24.3)/(6.02*10^23 𝑥 𝑙^3 )
solve for 𝑙^3 by taking cubic root

Or YOU could make the video and start a new career as a TH-camr !
@@chemistNATE I didn't say your method is harder. I just wanted to mention that you can do it both ways!
@@chemistNATE I didn't mean to criticize your method at all, don't get me wrong! All I meant was that there is an easier way that you also use😀
so much easier than how i was taught! you're the bomb... thank you!!
Love 💓💓 from India
Thank you thank you thank you. I've been working on my chemistry problems for an hour and this finally got me the right answer!
can you please do one when you're not given the density?????
Thank you so much for posting this. You made is so much easier to understand
Thanks a lot dude I was stuck on it for more than half an hour
You are truly a wizard
How Can I like this twice? YOU are da BOMB!!!!
Steven Stotts take my like
Really helpful followed the necessary calculations and got my answer on webassign. Thanks!
Absolute savage, made it quick and easy
I love you. Thank you. I owe you my first born child
Thanks a lot dude. A good example I use for my fcc problems too.
magnicium will be in hcp!!
please publish more you are the best
what is the fastest way to find the cube of edge length
please do tell me if there's a faster method to solve this problem... like if u have only 30 seconds
thx! this is useful to me! i figure it for a long time and almostgiving up
it's a unit cell dimension ?
Haha I love the reciprocal thing you did!
That was a great video! Thank you!
We could not calculate the volume of one cell if we don't know kind of lattice? !
you are a life saver! thanks man
CAN YOU GIVE THAT SMALL PEROODIC TABLE IN DESCRIPTION BOX 😅😅
thank you for this man
so how do you then find radius ?
never mind!! I got it lol
God bless you sir
Thank you so much
youre better then my dam professor he didnt even cover this and put it on a homework
perfect explanation. Thanks a lot!
Great video
10-23 kyase kare
You're the man!
i cant find the cubic root ..we are not allowed to use Calculator😑
Amazing!! thanks a lot man!!
Thanks! Great tutorial
Great flipping method
Thank you! Helps alot
Hum es trh ke chemestyr la solf de te rhe plz
this was very helpful but I got stuck at the cube root because my calculator does not have the option
You can directly use the formula !!!! Isn't it ??!!
thanks very much
Bro u goated
How will we calculate this stuff in examination hall without calculator. This is impossible for me to do so in just 3 hours. 👎Worst method.
Thank You!
damn that was good
thank you lot of sir
thank you :)
Ur awsome man
Thank u❤❤
thanx
Do without calculator
I love you.
I love you more
