@ZReviews and I now need those dekoni Audeze pads. I also completely agree that they needed more clamp than the default pads had. Bigger cushions really helped with that.
@@ResolveReviews So the leather Yaxi pads are better than the Alcantara for the Cosmo? Just curious because I want to pick up one of these two pads for my Cosmo.
I appreciate that you know when to give a headphone a chance with minor mods, and when not to. That comes with experience and knowing what you like. I followed your advice YEARS ago with the Harmonicdyne Helios headphones I bought off your review, with ZMF replacement pads you recommended, and they're still in my stable of fun V-shaped cans. Rewatch that video: it opens the exact same way with a million pads on the table lol.
14:30 I believe these are some random Ali pads I sent to you. I did not like their sound either! 22:18 Yes, I can confirm that the current Dekoni pads come without the 3M sticky bit pre-applied to them.
Are the pads on the Paras in this video not Dekoni Perf Pads? In the previous video, they were Dekoni Perf Pads. Now, they’re Brainwavz Fenestrated Pads. Is this a typo, or did something change? I'm now confused about which pads I should buy. 😅
I've loved my Para since I got it around May I think, close to your original review of it. That plastic ass clip on the headband just gave out one night recently though, a real bummer, so weak to see it on their next iteration.
Venus driven by speaker amp has a much stronger performance than other two headphones due to a low sensitivity (85.5db/mv=100db/vrm), it is actually hard to drive like Hifiman He6se, only that the wrong marketing strategy make it awkward. Nobody believed such a power monster has a 4.4 default cable and a cartoon girl image. The issue of Cosmo is too closed apart from the pad problem, the diaphragm unit is wrapped too much. It is restrained, and if you cover both sides of the Venus with your hands when listening to music, you will get a similar sound of Cosmo.
I have the Moondrop Venus. I changed the pads out to thicker lambskin pads and I changed out the headband to a normal one. I hated the Frankenstein band it comes with. I also changed the cable to a high end pure silver wire.
Heard the prototype at CanJam NYC this year and thought they were promising. I can’t lie though. I was hoping that they’d be priced more closely to the Venus and was disappointed when they announced the price.
Is it just me, or is nearly everything this guy talks about just GREAT, AWWSUM or amazeballs? I am starting to get the feeling this guy is just being a salesman through his comission-links, and not really reviewing anything critically..
I do not. I have been headcam since the start. But my hardware is always evolving.. Go watch something 4-5 years old and compare. This is practically still

Zeos fixing headphones with pads, pure Z. That's also indicating why companies are starting to lose in front of engaged audiophiles who are building their own headphones from scratch
outside of buying oval para pads, which are pretty cheap to purchase anyways, the drivers are very low distortion so you could EQ to about anything you want without it sounding weird.
Cosmo is exceptional, especially with the leather Yaxi comfort pads.
I HATE agreeing with you about things. I need those now too

@@j_505 I didn't try the Alcantara ones
Nope, moondrop's own EP100A pads are the best by far

No bass and thin sounding...now I see why Super Review loved these.
I heard the same about Resolve.
@@ZReviewsSounds about right.
haha :))))
@@ZReviewsThat’s why I take zero advice from them!😬
@@arthurhaywood2184 I do agree with them as the Cosmo is great for my classical/orchestral tracks.... so each to their own
Every headphone looks like a HifimAudeze these days.
My guy, I have listened to you for 5 years. You always swap pads! Keep it 100
Looking forward to your bokeh open review :>.
💯
9:37 spiral anime is Uzumaki the original manga is by Junji Ito, It's supposed to be insanely good

Thanks for confirming.

Let me double check. They look like Brainwavz, seem too big to be Dekoni.
Would be grateful :)@@ZReviews

So what pads do you recommend for the para? Cosmo seem cool but not cool enough.
Think those are Brainwavz Fenestrated. Or these amzn.to/41MMG8H
@ZReviews thanks.
I wished I had same zoo of pads for my Ananda Nano ..
Zoo of Pads... Band Name

I mean. They have a solid $300 gap between all models. Any closer to Venus and why even bother.
@@ZReviewsI was hoping that they were going to be a replacement for the Venus and not a separate model.

Yeah they are dubbing in all sorts of languages now. I find it kind of hilarious

Sometimes you just need that thick plumpy in you're life to make it better.
Haha imagine if it was illegal to swap pads Z would go nuts lol
No I would follow the law.. And then have a secret headphone pad bunker nobody knows about
What pads are those thick ones you’re using on the Cosmo?
all linked in the description.
I dont think I would buy a $900 headphone that sounded like shit out of the box.

It would benefit from coming with NO pads. Get your own
i can tell'em apart :D
Visually or Audibly?
Because I don't think I can even side by side with stock pads anymore. I am sure I lost the Venus and Para pads
I hve these, they're really great midrange focus headphones.
Definitely better than anything Hifiman offers
These or Arya
Why you do this to me. my heart
OK. Are we reviewing with stock wires... cuz.. yea
Yea
GL3000 are far superior.
Send them over. I'd love to try
Just no
Maybe Yes?
@@ZReviews I'm gonna give it a chance I think

Try hifiman arya then.
