I believe DC and BB has contributed greatly in their different skill sets as utility backs but Bauden has changed the face of the no 10 jersey and has set pretty wonderful records in the 10 jersey. The stats speaks for itself. He is truly one of the best 10s the all blacks and NZ has ever had.

Beauden Barrett might be the best all around back that's ever put the black jersey on. I tread lightly here but there certainly is an plausible argument here. The only knock I'd say was his goal kicking but he still wasn't that bad. WHAT A PLAYER!!

That chip and chase against Wales blew my mind.
There have been other line breakers, cover tacklers and even offloaders but I have never seen a chip and chase like that one he had against Wales.
That was next level skill!

His try that team that game and that commentary from nisbo was just the cherry on top I'd say for that dynasty from Henry Hanson an co not to mention the 7 who retired after that cup who essentially created the dynasty.

During the Ireland game when NZ come back in the last 30secs, he hit a hole in between Tadgh & someone else off a flat pass. Tadgh got all Bicep at phenomenal pace, & angle, & she was lights out..!! That's it right there for me.
Ben Smith and Conrad Smith were some of the best gap fillers in history, I genuinely think those two go under appreciated as they set up so many tries and are true play makers at heart. Both flawless players in their fielded position

greatest play maker ever. speed. step. tackling. interceptions. cross field kicks. finds good touch. BB is a cheatcode. from the scrum no other 10 will stop him so they put the fullback directly behind the 10 to stop him. the way the 10 is played now and defended is thanks to him
What makes this great is that it doesnt matter the team or the defense pattern...Beauden is still effective

Please use some broadcast camera angles too as some of these great tries are much better digested when you can see him traversing the field. There's too many front-on angles which are awkward. Also some more time should be spent making a more comprehensive highlight reel. There soo much not on here!

Beauden Barrett is already an all time great. As a 15 or a 10 he will rank as one of the greats most certainly he offers and has done more then Mehrtens Fox and Spencer at 10 and eclipsed any 15 in recent history.
seriously though, as a south african and springboks glazer, should beauden be considered as one the best of all time. Not just his position, but as a player. For me he's def Top 10 of all time
