@@dcmhsotaehThat should tell you that Marathi is not *the* language of Mumbai. Otherwise what explanation do you have? That Marathi people are more tolerant than South people? 😂. Why will the same group learn South languages in South but refuse to learn Marathi in a Marathi land? Simple, because Mumbai is not that much of a Marathi land.
Let me ask you another question. Do northies who live in Nagpur learn Marathi, as much as the ones who reside in South learn South Indian languages? Answer is yes. Because that is truly the native tongue in Nagpur. Whereas in Mumbai, it is Hindi.
I am myself South Indian by ethnicity, born in Mumbai. I knew neither Hindi nor Marathi at birth - only English in fact. Today I speak Hindi but can't speak much Marathi. That's because I learnt the language spoken most around me, growing up in Mumbai. And that is Hindi. So you should infer the local language from people like me, not imagine whatever you want.

Showing this kind of disdain and insecurity is rather pathetic, in-fact it is downright disgusting and proves that you are too lowly to be shown this honor and importance as to offer you a place right next to yourself. I did it and nobody laughed or smirked. Some people asked what I was wearing and I told them it’s part of my culture and they accepted it. I want to do that again. We wear to office with pride, it's our culture why to shame.. we don't care who thinks what. It's a culture for a girl to wear bindi and kumkum before marriage also. So you see many girls wear bindi and bangles and flowers.but sadly i don't see this in most North Indian friends, they behave like they are foreigners.

Except a few places and government offices which work responsibly 24x7 for some unavoidable reasons like police stations, hospitals, fire stations are open.
Apart from these places if any place is functioning it is at the risk of criminals and criminal activity. So be safe and try to keep yourself out of such places for your security. Great actors like Devanand kept themselves away from late night parties and activities, when they can do it, why can't we? Think about it fashion doesn't work in holy places and practical places like hospitals. Simple living high thinking like Lata Mangeshkar and Sudha Murthy ji suits an Indian women.

This is a hoax, check the statistics, the rate of conversion is less than 2% and the rate of people leaving religion is also 2%. Yes in 20-30 years people will go away from religion because it is a LIE. And it is true for all religions. Slowly people are moving away from religious rituals because it makes no sense. Muslims are not praying strictly 5 times a day, go to any mosque and see, hindus are not following all rituals strictlyl. Christians througout the globe almost became atheist or agnostic. this is the future of religion.
The only reason is RELIGION IS A BIG LIE.

Rather than a negative, I see this as a positive aspect wherein the religion is free to allow you to choose.

Exactly the question i also have that in india those who are accepting western culture, dressing, attitude and even celebrating western festivals have started looking on people very sick who follow Indian or their religious culture...i mean why do u want everyone to accept the culture u have accepted, they haven't changed but changing the world's culture so we all should be promoting our culture not theirs
