Saban was the coach when the games were setup. Since he's no longer the coach, I can get behind WVU wanting Pitt on the schedule every year. It's possible they don't see the impact without Saban coaching.
I just checked, for the next DECADE Alabama had two P4 OOC games! That's insane, especially considering Texas & Oklahoma are now in the SEC. I expect more games to be dropped. I have a video on my channel about the formula to make the CFP, check it out!

In the 12 team CFP era, schools only need one P4 OOC game a season. Bama has two in several seasons. They'll probably cancel a few more.
