They came out nice those calipers my friend
Thank you I appreciate it. I love them!
Nice! But I think the rotors are swapped driver and passenger side. I had a guy paint my calipers and he had mine flipped like yours so I left it lol
I haven't had any issues!
@ same here I left it the way it is and l liked it backwards lol
Looks great! What's the clearance like between your rims and the calipers?
Thank you! I would say probably about one finger gap clearance
@@TheJMedia Comfortable :) Whats the specs of your front wheels?
They are spoon sw388 wheels in s2000 specs. 17 x 9.5, +60
@@TheJMedia Very nice Spoon rims :) I asked about the specs because I'm contemplating getting the same Spoon calipers and wondering if my Advan RGII 7.5J +45 will clear them (staggered S2000 specs)
Thank you I appreciate it! 7.5 in the front isn't very wide. I also know that with +45 offset wheels, you'll need a spacer.
What did you torque the banjo bolts for the brake lines to. Installing spoon calipers on my DC5 and the instructions doesn't have that torque spec.
Didn't have the instructions with torque spec too so we just had it torqued to hand tight by wrench.
Thanks. Mine came with everything with all the torque specs just don't have those in English or Japanese. Been looking online found 25ft/lbs for oem and 11ft/lbs for the Brembo just curious if anyone had a specs for them. Figured I could split the difference from the oem a go 15.5
@mikelowrey8225 You're doing it the right away with proper torque specs!
Yeah I'm trying. I reached out to Spoon Sports use about the specs but haven't gotten an email back from them yet. That's where I got mine from so hopefully they get back with me tomorrow. Definitely don't want to lose my brakes or mess up the Spoon brake lines or calipers.
Hopefully they get back to you soon!
Looks fantastic man! I’m debating Spoon brakes for my S2K which is running Advan wheels. By chance can you advise how much larger (height and width) the Spoon calipers are vs OEM?
That's awesome! I don't have exact dimensions but the spoon calipers are just slightly bigger. It re-uses stock brake pad size. What size are your wheels?
@@TheJMedia I went with a conservative 17x7.5 with 48 offset
@user-fv4vp5cy8p Okay I see. Your offset is not super low so you shouldn't have an issue with fitting the spoon brakes
