Chris England «Every animal needs freedom. Why do we treat them so differently?» This video was part of an anti fur campaign, and the last scene is taken from a farm. They breed foxes, keep them in cages and produce fur
You're seeing typical Canidae playing behavior - that doesn't mean the canine is domesticated. Domestication means a great deal more than tolerance to interaction with human beings, and playing with man's best friend. Dogs, cats, sheep, etc have been changed at a genetic level, thru generations of breeding, to keep traits that make interaction with humans easy and beneficial - sometimes even dependent on humans to survive easily as a species. This fox is not dependent, nor genetically breed to have traits humans need or make it easier to interact with. He's maybe somewhat socially tamed through repetitive interaction with a dog and his human, but even "tamed" has it's limitations in how far you can push a wild creature before it'll turn on another creature putting stress or pressure on it.
Sniffer only trusts Tinni and her owners, as they met when the fox was just a cub, and is still very much a wild fox; e.g., a wildlife photographer tried to snap some pictures, but was discovered by Sniffer from over 70 meters away. This made Sniffer very wary, and they had to make a detour.
Good one. But Norway has no intention to change its eating-habits. Pølse everywhere, its really disgusting as an vegeratian. Norway ist a meat country. So, i think this video will maybe change some peoples thinking about animals, which are sentient beeings and can suffer.
LOL, Vegetarians are among the stupidest people on the planet, your views are so skewed, this video has nothing to do with eating habits, go eat your veggies and scream bloody murder ill just sit here and eat my "Pølse"
Yes, it has nothing to do with eating habits in the first way, you're rirght about that. What i mean is that this video shows animals how they are. Living beeings with feelings, so are pigs and cows and mooses and whales etc.. Have you ever heard about "carnism" and "speciecism" ? Just google it, its quiet interesting. And for the future: You can discuss without insulting. Its possible, believe me :)
tummlar This video shows a small part of how animals are. You seem to forget that both dogs and foxes eat meat, just as we do. There's nothing cruel about it, and I'll continue eating my sausages with no guilt whatsoever. If you feel disgusted by that, that's your problem. You need to realize we're omnivorous designed to eat a varied diet of both meat and vegetables.
Yeah, main problem is the industrialized manufacturing of animals. We produce them, mostly under extrem bad conditions which can be considered as torture. There is no hell like this. Anyway, thanks for response and that you did not blame me. :)
Tullekunstner Look at your teeth and you can see that they are made to eat plants. Omnivors like bears and pigs have canine tooth between their molars. We can DECIDE what to eat, an animal can't. Furthermore: We are 7 billion people on this planet and humans are 32% of the biomass of land vertebrates, livestock (cattle, sheep, chicken etc.) is 65% and wild animals are only 3%. Eating animal products means that we destroy the lives of the animals, the hungry people and our planet!

Todd og Copper !! :P
What does the video say in the end? can someone please translate it. Thanks
It says:
Every animal needs freedom.
Why do we treat them so differently?
who is the dog at the end that is in the cage?
doesnt appear to be the german sheppard that was playing with the fox.
It's not a dog, it's a polar fox or something.
That would be a fox in the cage.
Some people seem to believe they belong there...
The norwegian text in the video informs us about a demonstration aginst fur and for animals rights.
It is a fox in a cage at a fur farm.

thank you

seems to me that the fox is more domesticated than wild

pretty sure the dog pisses on the fox about @1:18
You have obviously never seen a dog pissing.
You obviously know nothing about film editing.

You obviously are homosexual and obviously are always thinking in that.
