In ‘91 and ‘96 interviews with MJ, Oprah referred to him as the “most famous man on the planet,” and there are a plethora of magazines from that era which lavish him with the same praise. Nevertheless, they are both arguably the two most famous entertainers/celebrities of the past 50 years, perhaps even of the modern era.
