In 1958, fifteen year old Sandie Rocheleau bought herself a Fender Esquire and a Tweed Champ to write songs and play rock n roll. Take a listen to her music, her story, and watch her ‘58 Champ (wired by Lupe) get restored. Her grandchildren tell her story and I enlisted help from my family to get her cover of the Everly Brothers’ Bye Bye Love on AM radio in NYC. (Okay.. maybe it was only a few feet, but it’s a start!)
